Is it okay for ask what is your budget per student? Also how much do you supplement with your own money? I am assuming things like organization bins were a personal expense? BTW I just stumbled upon your vlog and I love like a l l of your posts!

I really don’t have a specific budget or $ amount that I can spend. In my school district this is decided by individual school principals. I do work hard to grow my art program and am very lucky that my administration has been financially supportive of the arts. One thing to note is that I teach just outside of Washington D.C. in one of the largest school districts in America. My school is title one which means some of our students are from lower income homes so, we receive some additional government funding. My county is a very affluent area being just outside of the nations capital so, our spending per student is much higher than other ares. As far my own funds, I have been teaching for awhile and do invest in non consumables for my classroom each year such as organizational bins. Thank you for watching!!
