I was a 1st grade after school teacher when I was in school as a side job. JESUS himself had to help me because I had 13 GIRLS and 3 BOYS (2 of which were still 5) and a little girl with autism. It takes a special person to be a teacher, Good job Morgan!

Hi Morgan! I am studying to become a Primary School Teacher in Australia and I used to make KZbin videos. I thought that I wouldn't be able to do both so I put them all on private. It was so sad as KZbin was my hobby but you've just proven to me that I can do both of the things I love and I can't wait to get back into KZbin!! Hey Morgan! I also teach kindergarten and this is my third year as well! I have the same rug that you have and I use "printable labels" for my names on the rug. It does not leave any marks and they are so much easier to pull off. I used duck tape on my carpet last year and it left a mark but "goo gone" got up the extra residue. I hope this helps! Nice! A great alternative to the name tags is to write their names on the table with a sharpie! Depending on the type of tables though. It should come off easily with a Clorox wipe!

I have an idea for carpet repair...laminate a blank sheet, cut it up into the number of squares on the mat. Then, you can either super glue or staple it to the floor and then put the kids' names on it again, but in marker so it can be reused if you'd like.

New sub. I am going to school to become a teacher. Like you, I also started college thinking I wanted to be a physical therapist. I even am certified as a physical therapy aide. I quickly realized becoming a teacher is a better route for me. Love your videos. I've tried the whole tape on the rug, and it was a fail too. What works great now is that I made a small "model" of my rug on Word, laminate it and use dry erase markers for their names. Easy to move names as needed and for substitutes too. It stays on my white board. Just a little tidbit for anyone!

i just moved from Atlanta to douglasville (by sixflags) i couldn't find a area with in APS school system with a decent rating. However you as an individual seems to have a great set up for a productive school year!!! i wouldn't mind my child being in your class!!
