Despite having hard hitting title tracks, DC has also mastered the softer sides with their ballads, OSTs, R&B and even jazz in their b-sides. One of the reasons why they're always on my playlist is because no matter who the listener is, there's always a song that will appeal to the individual.

Dreamcatcher shares composers/producers with ATEEZ. Siyeon is the singer who hit the high note. Rock guitar appears in all of their title tracks, I like Good Night and Boca in particular. They have Japanese songs that hit even harder - Endless Night, No More, Eclipse and Don't Light My Fire.

Thanks for checking out Dreamcatcher. Best way to describe the genre is 'Dreamcatcher genre', as it's quite different than typical kpop, but not krock either. So far no other groups have similar sound. Dreamcatcher members are all wonderful vocalists an their voices complement each other, giving contrast and harmony. As for the song, it gives me Tron vibes somehow.

Dami, the rapper has a good Voice too, even sings with falsetto Voice in other songs. Every member is an amazing singer, but TOGETHER ARE WONDERFULL 🥰

Dreamcatcher has a long and varied history but I'll get into that another time. Their first single, " Chase Me ," is the start of the nightmare series which concludes with a song from their first japanese album. The last line from that song is literally " Bye bye nightmare. " They followed this up with the Dystopia trilogy which focused on the harms of social media. The latest is about fighting against global warming. Of course, there are a lot of songs inbetween that are well worth anybody's time so have fun with it.

"Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things). It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way. So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace. By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well. Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!

The algorithm knows to give me Dreamcatcher so I wound up here. The member with the face thing that does the belting is actually the funniest of the group in regular life. The rapper Dami went viral for her part in Boca if your kids are the age that cares about that. Scream, Boca, Odd Eye (their Dystopia Trilogy about bullying, hateful comments, social media respectively) are all great songs to rock out to, or find the deeper message if you're into it. BEcause is another recent great one that still has guitars but comes at you from a whole different direction.
