For people saying that the teacher is at fault here i will just say that what he did here was very important.Its the duty of teacher to show the correct path not the eaiser one. Guessing questions may work 1or 2 times but its bound to fail in bigger scenarios where strict -ve markings are present and the options are accordingly selected by the examiner. What the (physics) teacher told the students was wrong and illogical.

Once he had kept his chair near the door and the door was closed but unlocked. He was standing there with his hand kept on chair . I was already running 30 min late for the class. On reaching the class i banged opened the door but it hit against his hand and his hand got sandwitched in between. It must have hurt him alot. I realised that i had fucked up big time and all i could say was sorry ( dont know how many times i said so). The whole class started laughing. Knowing from my experience i knew i should better leave before he starts insulting me. But to every ones surprise he just laughed it off and told me to sit in the class. 😄😄😄 I wasn't a good student then but he is a good teacher Vibrant(2014)🤣🤣🤣

He might be a great teacher.But if a student came up with some wrong approach by some other teacher which might work sometimes, the job of teachers like him is to tell his students what's wrong in the method and explain, rather then making fun of him and calling him gadha and all.A student will believe whats shown to him,so if some wrong approach works sometime,he might think it will work everytime.I don't see any fault of the pupil for which he is being called nalayak.

Well I would say English teachers are even more horrible...Sorry to say but especially female English teachers. (I don't want to be sexist but this is my experience). In India, there is anyway a superiority complex in people who are good at English. And this is especially true of women. Even female English teachers. They embarrass students who are bad at English and even correct answer sheets very harshly. It is totally red, full of circles etc... mathematics teachers at least don't do that

You are so right and I can't possibly agree more. The teacher shouldn't be acting like this, its unnecessary. And to the comments who disagree with this, yes the teacher is "standing their all day" but isn't that because he chooses to? I agree that doesn't meant listening to smartass students like this one but there are other ways of handling the situation, simply ignore them, not completely but to the point where you let go of some idiotic concepts. Why should you ruin the class for everyone, just because of one student, and if the student is being repetitively interuptive then simply ask them to leave. Also comparing this teacher to other teachers isn't right, even if he's reacting in a much calmer way, makes him better but doesn't make it right. Teaching is an art and a great profession I agree one should respect the teachers but that doesn't mean to taking it out on dumb students who don't understand that.

Well, I have a more balanced view on this. I believe it is very unlikely that his ego would have been hurt by a student giving the answer before him by guess work. Because he is a very famous name in this field, very knowledgeable about mathematics, and secondly it's not that the student solved the question properly and then gave the answer before him. If that had been the case, then maybe his ego would have been hurt. But the student just guessed. And the student also admitted "question toh solve hona nahi tha mujhse". So there is no question of ego being hurt when the student himself has admitted that he does not know how to solve the question. Having said that, it is true that as a teacher he should never have humiliated the student, so what he did was wrong as a teacher.

If you approach anything just for the sake of getting answer only,you won't be able to understand the subject nor you will enjoy the studies. I am not saying this for particularly science or maths. This is applicable for everything.

Students are constantly bombarded with: How to do this, how to do that ...... and some hacks to cut the corner Students are never told .... for instance in this case 1) what binomial theorem does ? 2) in what context did it come up first ? 3) what's it s current place in terms of understanding or modelling phenomena ? So, b4 we dive into how to do matrices ..... its important to understand what matrices do Most of mathematics 1st arose in some practical context (sailors, traders, engineers), b4 it was explored further in an abstract sense. But if we make a direct lead into the abstract side of maths ..... its going to make kids turn away from maths. P.S: Pls, treat my comments in a constructive sense.

From the teacher's point of view: they face students who don't study or waste their time every year and their only goal is to impart knowledge to their students so that they succeed. They don't do it for themselves they do it for us. From the student's point of view: often students find it tough to cope with studies and the changing lifestyle especially in India where nobody gives a flying **** about mental health. So they end up procrastinating and thus 'falling down the hole' and often get offended when teachers treat them harshly. I would say I'm on the side of the teacher but he could've been a little more encouraging instead of roasting and making the student hate him. Pick up the hatchlings and show them how to fly rather than kicking them off the nest. That's just my opinion 😊

To those saying he was rude.... People there are teachers in Kota who are worse than this. And in JEE preparations this Aram se samjhana doesn't really work. And the student himself must be smart enough to know that guess work is wrong. If he tries this pyaar se samjhana on everyone then rarely anyone will listen. You have to be strict with students. Yes many teachers are gentle but everyone doesn't have to be like that. These students are nearly adults and I guess everyone knows it's hard to make them understand. Jb tk aadmi strict nhi hoga tb tk log samajhte nhi hain. And if he did scold him then what? It wasn't for his loss.... Just to make him understand that guessing won't get him anywhere. In my days getting Humiliated by a teacher was considered to be guidance. To not make that mistake again. If we did that humiliation used to come in our minds 😅. There are very few teachers who are very patient with students... And that is very good but being strict isn't wrong either. And when I'm saying my days I mean 2000-2005 time. I found him strict but we had teachers more strict than this. You won't understand it now but surely after a few years,when you'll be making that same mistake you'll remember that humiliation,that scolding and you won't make that mistake. Pyaar ki Baatein Logan ko yaad nhi rehti but Beizzati hamesha yaad rehti hai.

I think only indian ca is tough by icai but in other counteries cpa cima alot easier then indian ca in western countries entring in engineering is also easy but i think science and maths a lot hard in understanding and grasping then accounts and economics. Indian ca final is hard cause they need to do articleship before giving paper but most student do ca after bcom some do with college but in10+2 is alot hard to study for jee and prepare for baords cause boards marks ask by everyone and it is teenage which makes it more hard. I dont know why in india everything is hard wheb they get engieering college they dont study cause they get trained by preparing for jee and cpt is alot easier then finals which not trained us for ipcc or ca final its not right system of education.
