Our school is great and they do a little collection for each grade level and they split it into gift cards. But I got some really sweet personalized gifts too which is never expected (especially since I'm a middle school teacher) but always appreciated! My dad is a middle school teacher too and he had the best idea for thank you notes: write the thank you notes and send them the old fashioned way through the mail over break. Enjoy your break!
