You need to watch Bad Lip Reading. “Not the Future” it's the last in their series of Star Wars songs. This song “Bushes of Love” is not supposed to make sense. It is merely a catchy tune with random words that it looks like the characters might be saying with just a hint of familiar Star Wars story sprinkled in, such as Luke's story with his aunt and uncle and his hidden connection to Leia at the time he met Obi-won. I just discovered you guys and loved your content. Keep it up.

I wouldn't say that there is necessarily any particular meaning to the Bad Lip Reading songs, but I also wouldn't say that they're completely random. To me, Bad Lip Reading is masterful at infusing thematic meaning into relative nonsense. The specifics of the songs or lines rarely make complete sense, but if you look at it as a whole, you can observe lessons and themes, and can interpret various meanings in the songs. The way I interpret this song is that Obi-wan is using the story of the "chicken duck woman thing" that killed Luke's father in this story as a metaphor for heartbreak and/or the risks of love. From his point of view, love is dangerous, and he worries all day about what it might do and what its effects could be. Which, now that I said that, I realize that this interpretation could even have a deeper level, if you take the prequels into account. From Obi-wan's perspective, Anakin's love for Padme is what led him to the dark side. With this interpretation, the story of the "Chicken duck woman thing" would be a purely fabricated story which Obi-wan uses as a metaphor to warn Luke of the dangers of love.

It’s a commentary on the pitfalls of looking for a partner in this crazy spinning ball of chaos. Sometimes, you meander from partner to partner, hoping to fill the void in your heart, and then you come home to find your only parental figures are burnt corpses, and if you’re ever gonna survive long enough, you have to hold fast and learn to take care of yourself. It’s a coming of age story all of us go through sooner or later. Also a strong reminder to double check your partner’s lineage before engaging. A lot of people aren’t too careful, especially in southern states.

The duck feet are the cybernetic legs Darth Vader receives. The woman's face is Padme, who was Anakin's main motivation to turn to the Dark Side. Combine Palpatine, the robot limbs and Padme, and you get the 'monster' that 'killed' his father (from a certain point of view)." And it was waiting in the bushes for us, something's waiting in the bushes of love" The 'bushes of love' are all the feelings you get because of love, it can blind you and it hides the real dangers of what could happen because of it. Bad Lip Reading is. Lipsyncing to Random Gibberish. it's Not necessarily. Suppose to make sense. It's just matching mouth motion.

Okay guys, bad lip reading did episodes of star wars and the extended songs are extrapolated from the episode scenes shown. The way bad lip reading works is they mute the sound and look for alternate words that the mouth movements can also seem to be. Then with clever editing they can insert other dialogue to progress some semblance of a plot. These songs have small parts in the episodes themselves but then get released as a full track like this and the seagulls song. I'd also recommend Auralnauts Jedi Party edition and the complete abridged and repurposed saga. They do episodes 1-6 and there's a coherent plot and also the people making the parody did a superb job on sound design and character impressions.

Always love your reactions! I think you are reading waaaaaay too much into it, lol It's like "Seagulls" they are mostly nonsense songs that are commonly funny. I think the difference with "Bushes of Love" is that is a more dramatic type composition and the song itself is more melodic and seems to draw on sentiment. Perhaps with the omission of "Chicken, Duck, Woman thing" it could actually be seen as a song about the mystery of love and how it can strike at any point and it may bring happiness or sorrow. I think that's the fun of the songs. We can germinate our own meanings.

Okay, bushes of love is a metaphor. The chicken/duck/woman monster that killed Anakin was hiding in the bushes. Since losing his friend, Obi-Wan is afraid to get close to anyone because of the fear something is always lurking in the bushes to take them away. Love is dangerous. Reinforced when Luke finds the crispy bodies of his family, and the hint of the truth about that dream girl’s kisses is yet another shocking surprise lurking in the bushes of love. ...or it’s just random silliness.

"bushes of love" is simply a line they inserted into a scene where it "fit" Kenobi's lip movements. As usual they picked up the ball and ran with it. Watch it again. "bushes of love" fits the video where Obi is speaking. Same with the floors line.

This is easy to interpret if you turn to the darkside for 2 seconds: The chicken-duck-woman-thing was Yoda's ex girlfriend from Ryloth who had a bit of a bunny boiler complex. She was two timing with Ben Kenobi which caused issues when Anakin found out she had banged 48 other Jedis - 49 including Kenobi, many whom subsequently turned to the darkside due to a rare mutant Midichlorian STD she carried. Ultimately most succumbed to their shame, suiciding on their lightsabers whilst crying out "bushes of love" as they perished. Not Kenobi though. He was too weak mentally, and decided to hide his shame by becoming a desert hermit, hoping no one would notice... Curiously, "bushes of love" is an ancient Wookiee metaphor about how one should be wary of overly hirsuite female Wookiees who use their luxuriant body hair to lure naive young wookiee males to their dishonour amongst the tic infested forest undergrowths of planet Kashyyyk.
