I know MacFarlane bases Roger's voice on Paul Lynde who played uncle Arthur on Bewitched. Uncle Arthur was a witch who could do most anything, I wonder if someone got the idea for Roger to be almost anyone from that too.

There are so many fantastic surprise Roger moments and then they make it even more special by putting random twists on the running gag. Like the episode where Haley and Roger go to see a documentary about a guy and both of them are surprised that it didn't turn out to be Roger. Or the episode where Stan goes to confront a construction company, knowing it must be Roger. Yet, while Roger is in fact there, he's the son of a family where the Mom is also Roger but he has a human brother. I truly adore this running gag.

Roger is constantly playing a character, it's how he comprehends us. He plays to our points. His intelligence massively outweighs what we can comprehend. He plays silly, but probably has an I.Q. of 400+.

Sorry teach, wrong decade! It was in the 1920's when flappers were a thing. The 60's were mini-skirts and bell-bottoms. Well, bell-bottoms crossed era's and were also popular into the 70's. But they did hit in the 60's. Flappers and flapper dresses...20's.✌

I enjoy watching reactions to things I watch. I guess it has to do with the “am I the only one who reacted like this?” or “how some who don’t know the show would react?” With lack of people nearby since covid this reacts are helpful. Also, are we really want in particular to give to someone we know something we watch just to see reacts? If so, what we tend to see? That their reacts are the same, or what then? Cuz with dark humour, sarcasm and other silly jokes in a show we love, we wanna see if we are not the only one we react this way? Just curious what showing a video just to see reacts means for some.
