You’re actually so inspiring! I’m currently in my 2nd year of the Bachelor of Education and it’s so good to see an awesome Aussie teacher filming these real and raw vlogs! I’m so nervous to graduate and do this job, but I know that it’s what I’m meant to do, and I’m going to love it. Thank you for these! 🤩💛

I'm so glad I found this video/channel! I start my first primary teaching job this year and was afraid that my co-curriculars that I love doing (like making silly youtube videos - my undergraduate degree is acting) would be something that I could do anymore! So stoked to see that I can still work on my hobbies.

Thank you so much for this video!! You’re such an inspiration and I am so glad you uploaded this video. I am about to start my teacher education studies next year and I’m so confused whether to go into secondary teaching or primary school teaching! This video helps so much!! How is your experience as a teacher? Is it very stressful and time consuming? What’s the admin work like? I’ve heard that they don’t talk about admin work before becoming a teacher. Is it something I should look out for? I’m so stressed but at the same time I have so much respect for this profession and for teachers 😊

Thinking about doing teaching and just found your channel and you have such good content. Could you consider do a video on getting a job after graduating? I've heard it can be hard to get a position in primary vs some more in demand subjects (like STEM) in high schools, but I just don't think high school is for me. Would love to know about the processing of interviewing and getting casual or perm work after uni

This is amazing! Thank you for sharing! I am another Aussie PST eager to start their own teaching life - I just had a couple of questions! Firstly, what time do you arrive at school in the mornings? It feels like you're there for AGES before anyone else arrives! Secondly, what is the blue book that I see you using when you're doing your explicit teaching? Lastly, what is 'Crunch 'n Sip"? Thanks heaps!!
@TEACHERISHAPPY4 жыл бұрын
Caitlyn Boutros Hey Caitlyn! Congrats on joining the best profession ever! 1. All depends on the morning (I work pretty far away so I don’t like to take or do work at home if I can avoid it). So sometimes it’s 7:30 sometimes it’s 8:30? 2. It’s called Spelling Mastery and it was a program our school had a for a little while (not every school will have this). 3. Crunch n Sip is just another name for fruit break where we encourage the kids to have a piece of fruit or vege and water in the morning to get the day started. I hope that helps! Check out my Instagram @teacherishappy if you want more updates 💖💖💖

I’m considering quitting nursing to do teaching as a Uni student, but previously being in the US it seems like teachers are way underpaid and how no one cares about teaching. I was wondering if this is also the case here in Australia?
@gisellec8133 жыл бұрын
Well in NSW Australia, primary teachers will earn around 72K in their first year of teaching. I’m not sure about other states (:
