Thanks for your input po. But if you would look into history, others would argue on the term magi / kings / wise men. “As early as A.D. 200, Tertullian was laying out arguments that the Magi, while astrologers by trade, were considered kings.”

@@TeacherKaye Magi or wisemen used in the bible, because this wisemen consider Jesus as the KING❣️ They we're called wisemen because they travelled miles just to see Jesus and probably MARAMI PO SILA HINDI PO SILA TATLO KASI KUNG TATLO SILA BAKA SA DESYERTO PALANG NAPATAY NA SILA NG MGA WILD ANIMALS AT MGA MAGNANAKAW. ang tatlong hari ay sa iba po yang paniniwala, pero batay po sa bible wisemen po at nag bigay sila ng gifts although tatlo ang gifts but, it doesn't mean na tatlo lang ang nagbigay. But anyway thankful po ako sa mga insight na eshare mo dito God bless po ❣️

Hi JD! I get your point po. But what I am saying here is the terms Magi / Kings / Wisemen are used interchangeably kasi accdg to history, the “Magi” are considered as kings. Kaya when a person calls the wise men as “kings” it doesn’t mean na literal na kings sila, but it makes sense why they are called that way. Actually, sa original Greek text ng Bible, hindi naman talaga WISE MEN or KINGS ang tawag dba, it came from the greek word μάγοι (magoi) which means A sorcerer, a magician, a wizard. Of foreign origin; a Magian, i.e. Oriental scientist; by implication, a magician. But again, during their time they are also considered “kings” but not literal kings. Kaya okay lang naman iinterchange ang wise men / magi / kings as long as gets mo ang context. Ang sarap mag aral ng Bible na in line sa context or history 😊 I hope you get my point 👌 God bless!
