It's probably less common than "different" and "difference", but there are definitely situations where it is useful.

Very interesting, nice and useful new video! It is excellently explained and contains a lot of valuable examples of sentences with important words: Difference, Different and Differ, as well useful expressions and phrasal verbs. Thanks a lot, Mike, for really precious lesson! What a difference one day makes! She is completely different from her two sisters. You use "looks different" because you are using "look" as a linking verb. You aren't talking about someone looking at something.

Every languages has the different grammer structures, to cleary understand the differ among em..we should make out the main "thinking difference"..cause while speaking we are not supposed to think and talk as our native language..we should think and then speak according to language we learn.
