It's because there's people who can't afford the stuff you buy, for an example you wear adidas,Nike, shoes, etc and the person that sees it also wants that but just can't afford, and starts to beg their parents like "omg mom my friend has this and this and this and etc" , they do uniforms so everyone would look the same. But tbh noone even wears uniforms anymore, they just don't care. it's kinda like jealousy or yk, and it's also because so Students won't be bullying other people of what they're wearing or what they don't have. It's not because it effects on your grades or studies.

So I understand the clothes part because in my school there are uniforms but jewelry and stuff that’s not that reasonable also 1 of my friends wanted to grow out her nails so when she paints them that will be really pretty but the teacher said no you can’t paint your nails so cut them when you get back home.
