Thanks for this Mr Tompkins. I'm an RE teacher but I also do art in my spare time, so I already had the Wacom One. When everything went online I was wondering if I might use the tablet with Teams so this is very helpful, cheers.

I'm finding it massively helpful, so definitely plug it in and give it a go! I'd like to be using mine for art too, but I am utterly hopeless!

A question - do you need the splitter for the 2 screen set up?

@@the_artisan you'll only need a splitter if you want a 3rd screen going - like if you want to use it in your classroom and also project to your whiteboard/panel. If its just you and your Wacom at home, just plug it in as normal, use extended desktop, and share "screen#2" within Teams.

I buyed wacom one dispay pen tablet and When i record lectures using display pen tablet its lagging Please tell what is the reason my recording legged

I haven’t experienced any lag when recording from the Wacom. Are your drivers up to date?

Thanks for another great video. I currently use the Wacom intuos (college issued) which is good for teaching but I am looking for something where I could annotate students’ essays or work in class notebook. I find the intuos fiddly. Would the Wacom 1 be better?

Hey Eric - yes, the hand-eye coordination you need for a basic graphics tablet needs to be trained, and I find I have to concentrate a whole lot more when I use one. The Wacom One is much more intuitive, and takes no practice at all. It is less rugged and portable though, so the intuos is probably better for lugging around school. But the Wacom One is such a great tool for annotating, and having the second screen is so handy for remote lessons. I dont think you would regret adding it to your home setup.

Do o have to get the remote? Planning to use for online teaching as well? Does it work well with all microsoft apps? Thanks you

I think the remote might be useful if you are doing things like photoshop and need regular access to lots of keyboard shortcuts. I personally dont have one and dont feel the need to get one for my school work. The wacom works great with all the microsoft apps I've tried and works fabulously with OneNote, which is my go-to app for all my classwork!
