Even in India at many states swamy means husband, and in olden days husband is an actual God for women. Moreover actual meaning of swamy/ sami is god. Omg, what a depth in lyrics, mera aankse tho paani nikalgaye, I don't think even director would have been understood the depth of the meaning in this lyrics. Because the depth of the lyrics can be understood only by a man who got a wife who loves her husband from the bottom of her heart, just like my wife.
