YIKES! You need help. Your harness is not on correctly. There are no tie down straps on the tugs and I can't figure out what is all that leather behind the pony? I think you couldn't figure out how to put the breeching on.

You would be much better off to attach two pieces of PVC pipe before you hook the shafts of cart up to him
