Hi. IDK exactly how many months or years but one thing is for sure, I always encourage each of them to participate in class. I usually offer some rewards like giving them stickers (one of the common strategies to motivate them to participate in class). When it comes to sustaining their poor attention span. I used some TPR to regain their focus and attention in my class.
