No, most language schools prefer that English teachers not know the language of their students to force the students to communicate with the teacher in English.

You are correct. The chance of not experiencing classism or some type of cultural discrimination is dependent on the degree of internationalization in certain Mexican cities, which is not unlike many non-western or 3rd world countries... Great program ladies!!👍🏽

I transitioned into entrepreneurship after 34 years as a registered nurse educator for a psych hospital. I have a Bachelors degree in Family Life Education. Would I meet minimum requirements to do this? I don’t have a TEFOL

You have a degree, that will get you in the door with a lot of companies. Getting a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA will make you more competitive. For some reason I think it is Colombia. But usually these kinds of companies employ you as a contractor not an "employee"

I work for this company abroad they give1099 no state taxes or income taxes are taken out .You are responsible for paying all your taxes .
