For the last week we have been volunteering at a monastery in Myanmar teaching novice monks English. Here is a quick video sharing with you guys what our experience was like :)

I’m Burmese myself and it’s been so many years since I’ve been to Myanmar and it’s amazing to see how the places are. I was born in Myanmar and then lived in India most of my life so someday in the future, maybe this following summer, I would love to go visit my relatives and have fun😭❤️❤️

Wow, you feel their and your warmth in this video. Isn't this one of the reasons to travel. Have the time to really interact and connect with people and the surrounding. At least that's why we love 'slow' traveling. Beautiful video.

Education is the only solution to pull the country out of the poverty and Myanmar really needs people like you who are willing to pay back the society in positive way. The world is more beautiful and life becomes meaningful because of people like you.

Hi I will be traveling acrosse asia and that whole region. I would to do some volunteering work such as what you both are doing. If you have any info. as far as who I can contact or get intouch with to do some volunteering work I would greatly appreciate it. Keep up the good work!

It’s called -“thanat-khar”. Basically , a paste made from certain type of tree bark. Being living in hot ( tropical country) Myanmar people wear it to cool down the temperature. It has SPF property . Hope this helps.

Nice peaceful buddhism in myanmar.plz monks should avoid meat,egg,alcohol, cigarettes, married and living luxury life.pureveg simple living monks could inspire us to be pureveg and live in simple life without any violence. Buddha said if you don't have any food to eat then you can eat meat.this comment is from the land of buddha lumbini nepal.anyway thanx for nice video.
