Teaching Filipino Martial Arts to Kids

Teaching filipino martial arts to kids, can be challenging, but yet rewarding when skills are installed and they are having fun with it. Safety must come first. Basics should be the foundation to build on and not to overload them with too many details, as long as they are moving forward towards their goals.
Jorden is 8 years old with only couple months of training in Tabimina Balintawak System- A reaction based training which primarily focuses on defense. Using the stick as training tool to bring out the necessary reaction to mitigate all random, on target, real-time attacks and/or threats under stress. No patterns, no memorization, just precise and appropriate response. Teaches you how to attain the very elusive "Zeromind State" and "Heightened Consciousness" where one is able to maintain calmness under pressure.
