Thank you for watching! What are some of the roadblocks that your students seem to have when learning History vocabulary?

'Jean Pass'! Thank you for this video. One scaffolding technique that has helped my students, especially the ones who aren't fluent in English (but our course is in English) is to ask them to create sentences using the vocabulary terms. They are given handouts with the definition and pictures but they need to create a regular sentence with it. This helped my kids normalize the vocabulary and think of the different ways they can use it in within a given historical context and in any other context too
