Due to covid, many schools closed down, salaries slashed, new vacancies are non existent. Most imp is to have "contacts"

Very true. Contacts =Vaasta. Schools in UAE run in a haphazard manner. They only bother abt KHDA and nothing else. Standard of education is far below as compared to schools in India. My personal experience is, education in India is far better and things are much streamlined in India as schools strictly follow the curriculum boards which they follow unlike the schools in UAE.

Namaste Arpan Normally schools in UAE would require at least 2 years of experience. So it’s better to gain experience first. However, there is no harm in applying without it as well.

Leadership roles are promoted both ways as mentioned by you! Internal people are given a preference, however if there is no one who can take the position from within the staff, others are recruited. Your senior leadership team would guide you about applying which is generally the process of presenting your vision and mission for the department you are applying for, followed by the panel interview!
