Please make a note PGCTL is Professional Graduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning (PgCTL) Not a post graduate, 1- this course is not equivalent to B.Ed or PGCE or PGCE i as these are U.K level 7 Education, PgCtL is just a skill development course for developing teaching skills, and online mode , it is not a teaching Degree or qualification as if you go to any GCC country they will never process it as equivalent to their country teaching degree, In UAE or dubai , there are two categories of teacher recruitment, a) Subject teacher : where only graduation in regular mode is eleigible to teach ( note after selection school will ask to appear for teacher licence test ) where this suraasa pgctl wil help to prepare, Please make note you dont need to hold a B.ed degree for subject teacher. b) Class teacher : In class teacher one has to be minimum qualifications as Bsc/BA/or any bachelor degree in Regular mode + B.Ed / PGCE/PGCEi which are all at least U.K level- 7 , and here PgCtL is not recognised as equivalent to B.Ed or PGCEi, Please this is your channel once you are uploading a vedio make sure you are full aware with the rules and other details , I strongly suggest dont follow suraasa words visit MOE website qhich will make very clear with link www.khda.gov.ae/CMS/WebParts/TextEditor/Documents/Approved-Providers-for-Teacher-Preparation-Qualifications-En.pdf

PGCTL provided by suraasa is diploma and it’s online so it is acceptable in UAE by the government i think online courses is not acceptable is this degree will be attested ? Please do reply Or we have to do regular degree?

Certainly in Dubai and the rest of UAE but you need to talk to Suraasa people about it’s eligibility outside. If the awarding body is UK then high chances that it will be recognized

Thank you for replying. I will certainly talk to the suraasa's coordinator about it, they said pgctl is approved by KHDA. Basically I am afraid that after completing this course, Is it approved/applicable in India? Coz no one is aware about it here. As I don't have teaching experience so school might not consider me on other experienced B.ed teacher. Lastly the course is quite costly so Is it worth to doing it?

Broadly for CBSE schools 3 to 6000 Aed, For British schools - 6000 to 10000 Aed and for IB - 7000 to 14000 Aed. Plus the housing, return airfare and medical insurance benefits! Eligibility criteria to teach in UAE is - The degree in the subject you teach + the teaching degree (B.ED, M.ED, PGCE or equivalent) + 2 years of teaching experience. Degrees must be regular.
