I won a game on udyr yesterday from the last video you were explaining lane states to Ludwig and I got 3 free kills just bc I timed my camps to the enemy pushing waves. So I had my camps all down as they were pushing and I caught them out. Watching someone learn is way easier than being told something

You are not a hater. It's a legit question and I get what you mean. 😂 Personally I think it's ok because Ludwig doesn't get coached every game. His coach only guides him for a few games. Then Ludwig tries to apply the tips by himself. If he wouldn't play the majority of his games by himself then I wouldn't acknowledge accomplishments, too.

The point perry makes is demonstrated here. Ludwigs mechanics are bad, but he is climbing. If you play with a certain mindset and ok macro, you will climb and have more fun. Nowhere in the video does perry give like a Ultra Super Challenger Hidden Secret advice. Sion bot ? look at his camps or grubs. Wanna gank ? look at items, hp/mp and wave states, and consider if an objective is coming up. Farm efficiently. Non of those are revolutionary, but need to be restated.

Pretty sure in a previous video they decided no coaching on final rank before plat and that l which is like 5 wins in a row with his rr increase I think. Luds also not being coached every game.

@ I mean if I had a 50% win rate and I had a few games where I was coached by pros I d steadily climb, same with practically anyone. We can make excuses, but at the end of the day having a bunch of different challenger coaches with different perspectives in multiple games will significantly improve you compared to a normal person playing. If you can’t solo and reach plat after all that then the games just not for you, he should at minimum be able to reach plat after all that coaching solo.

But he's still maintaining the 50% winrate while not being coached meaning that he is improving to match the rank he is in. otherwise he would fall down in ranks as most of his games are not coached. we can see this from his stats yesterday he wasn't playing at the level of a gold 3 so he dropped to gold 4. If today he doesn't play at the level of a gold 4 he'll drop to silver, but if the coaching yesterday made him better at the game he'll rise back to gold 3.
