YES! This is EXACTLY how it goes when EVERYbody who golfs tries to teach their brother/sister/nephew/neice/parent/friend. The "student" just wants to hit the ball and it takes a lot of arguing about how they have to crawl before they can walk (heck, they have to turn onto their stomach before they can even do that, lol). Both teacher and student get frustrated and snap at eachother and laugh their butts off, but... when the student finally gets too exhausted arguing and the teacher finally finds a phrase that "clicks" then it's GO TIME and the absolute BEST feeling for both! Keep pluggin' away sisters! Golfing with eachother in the future is gonna be a blast!

I loved watching this, had a bit of everything in it, so hopefully your sis Cici, gets the golf bug, oh and Sabrina we wear a glove on our left hand for a right hander to add extra grip the the left hand and to make it more dominant than the non gloved hand 😍And if it is raining which we get all time in England its very hard to grip a wet club with no glove....

Right. I think it was for entertainment value. Cici was right. Sabrina should have only given Cici a few simple steps to start, but that would not have been goofy and funny. Sabrina knows she should have only given Cici a few steps (setup and keeping her eye on the ball), then sitting next to her and feeding her about 20 straight balls, with Cici only bringing the club back halfway, learning to swing halfway and keep watching the ball. The full swing and all the other techniques can come later. But this is boring, not entertaining.

That was a very interesting lesson. I am the oldest of five boys, and within one minute of the lesson starting I could feel how I felt trying to teach them anything. There is a sibling friction that doesn’t go away. I know that you will teach your sister well, and it will be fun to watch. Great video.

I was so laughing at this lesson. Cici just as funny. Typical sibling though,so distracted with your voice and repetitive instruction. Show her some patience and that it takes time. Remember how long you took to learn and how long you've been playing to get as good as you are. Treat her as a friend more rather than a sister while you're coaching her. REALLY good short putting! That's so awesome. It's the most important part of learning to score well, IMO. I believe in learning from the green out. Short putts. Long putts. Basic short game. Basic advancement shots from the fairway and the rough. Finally driving. When I finally got my head wrapped around all those basics, I finally got decent and started to get down to 80 and was ready for more advanced stuff. Then I stopped playing. ??😮?? So I never got as good as Sabrina. But she's got you on the right track. Basics. And you're n the right track because your best skills are on and around the green. You're going to do great.

Ok. So, Sabrina. I am coming back to golf this summer after a lo-ong layoff. Like 14 years since my last 18 hole round on a full length course, with only a couple of 9 hole rounds last fall on a very short course with 6 par 3's and 3 very short par 4's. Today, as it happens, I went out for a short game practice session. I watched this before hand, and decided to take some of the short game stuff out with me. Some I had forgotten, and needed reminding of. Some I had never really done much with before, but decided to give a try to, (feet close together, specifically). It worked out well. I was trying to rediscover short game touch, and the feet together, wrists not breaking (I've always focussed on that!) and weight on front foot (I'd forgotten that one) points helped a lot. i'm starting with just focussing on placing a tee about 4-5 paces on the green, backing up 4-5 paces from the edge of the green, and trying to fly a low shot those 8-10 yards to land within a pace of the tee. Get that feel. Get it consistent. After some work and early struggles with consistent contact, after about a half an hour, I was getting pretty consistent. I figure I can redevelop my chipping game from that as a basic shot to start from So thank you.

Great video! I learned some cool things about golf and I’m looking to lesson 2. Another lesson on the same things might bore some viewers but it would be nice to see what she has retained. If you have a driving range that has distance markers it might help her select different clubs. Maybe 20 balls with a T with the driver, 3 & 5 wood etc. Also do what you do best, get her to have fun and take the bad shots and blow them off and really enjoy the good shots. I know, you also get down there n yourself from time to time but the golf girls get you out of it.

Cici should try the Saguto Golf method. When I started playing golf, I only played Par 3, twice a week, for almost 2 seasons. (Canada: golf season last only 6 months). When I see new golfers on a regular 18 holes, I don't get it, unless they are playing vegas, you can't have fun hitting 10 balls in the rough to get to the green.
