Now this is teaching life skills! Thank you Kylie for showing your sisters that it’s great to learn construction skills. I helped my dad build our additions to our house when I was like 13 yrs old and those skills helped me in my job later in life. Keep learning these skills girls!!!

Congratulations Kylie, Aubrey, Addison and Jared! I have to stick to my usual compliment on your vlogs: Top of Edu-tainment. It made me think of the time in St.John's where Jared taught DIY, (to boys and girls) working on the home school and room makeovers. This project was extra special, because of the sister bonding and family dynamics. Kylie becoming aware of her "mama bear feelings". Being responsible for safety for her sissies. I SAW that you all really NAILED the bedroom makeover! Super! The floor pattern is such a good choice too. All the dogs look like they will stand out on the floor and therefore, they shouldn't be at risk of being camouflaged and then stepped on.

Kylie- just for future reference- if you loosen the carpet and fold it back down the full length of your cut, it’s much easier and safer. That way you are cutting through the back and can put the blade of the knife deeper so it’s less likely to jump and cause a cut. (I install hardwood floors for my living and am very familiar with removing carpet…😢)
