Hare Krsna 🙏 The ONLY motivational work present in the world is BG itself which was imparted to Arjuna by the lord himself at the time of greatest despair. Anything spoken outside the realms of BG is a sheer waste of time for both, the speaker and the audience. Below conclusions are made easy to understand by the mercy of Srila Prabhupada and is the most confidential message as well. 1. That material world is full of miseries and we need to be tolerant. 2. Surrender unto a pure Devotee (only Prabhupada as per disciplic succession) 3. Chant 16 rounds , follow the regulative principles and get out of this place. As devotees we owe this to others to make them aware of the absolute truth. Our duty is to simply impregnate the seed of lords name in the hearts of the Jivas,they may not like , follow or practise immediately, but the potency is there and it will manifest in its due course. Why do we have to over engineer things and reinvent wheel in our own fancy means (Shrama hi Kevalam). We all know how painstakingly Srila Prabhupada has worked to give this world BG AS IT IS and our actions should align to further his movement AS IT IS. It’s just been 40 years (since prabhupada disappearance ) and the we have already maligned the pristine works by our great Acharyas by interpreting and concocting so much. Imagine the fate of our grandchildren and near future generations, they will be completely bereft of this knowledge if we don’t step in and guard these riches for them. Hare Krishna dear prabhu ji You are so sincere to Prabhupada. In regards to Gaura Gopal prabhu, he used to come to London. I have learned so many things from him. He makes the concept very clear by jokes, short stories and exmples. He is my sikshya guru. You are a wonderful devotee no doubt. So is His Grace Gaura Gopal prabhu. People like me are so fallen that I need some jokes, short stories, mundane examples to understand shastras. I recently read his book Life's Amazing Lessons. It is a very good book. One of lessons I learned from there be interested in a person, be their friend so that can be attracted to Krishna. For me, as the mass population is in deep dark well of maya, morning Srimad Bhagavatam kind of language may not make sense to them. On the other hand, our ISKCON is so rich. We have varieties of devotees with variety of talents and skills and they are all being used for Krishna. Devotees write books, give talks, that is also required. Whatever money devotees like you earn goes for the temple. To teach a dumb, one needs to use the language the dumb can speak in my opinion. Trying to follow in the the examples Gaura Gopal prabhu has taught I have been able to attract my non-devotee family members to Krishna more. Otherwise, I talk only about Krishna and they talk only about non-Krishna. There was always communication gap. When showing guests around the temple, I used to download so much information. But thanks to Gaura Gopal prabhu and many other devotees like you, I have learned from their talks. I liked one statement Gaura Gopal prabhu wrote in his book - "They do not care what you know, unless they know you care". It has been an eye opener for me. As a Grihastha householder, earning money is essential as you know very well. When someone is born, or dies, money is required. If I be honest, I got clarity from Gaura Gopal prabhu that it is nothing wrong to earn money as long as I am not attached with it and as long as I use it for Krishna. As you are a wonderful vaishnava, so is Gaura Gopal prabhu is. Srila Prabhupada said vaishnavas should see good qualities in others. Please bless me so I do not judge another Vaishnavas as I myself have million of faults in me. In every interviews, talks, devotees give, the essence is Krishna as I have noticed. That includes your talks as well.

Prabhuji, please accept my Humble obeisances, I read your comment and came upto the conclusion that , yes it is infact necessary to talk to people in the language that they can understand, but my question is that if this was such a practical technique than why didn't our great Acharya's our great guru's like Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur, Srila Prabhupada use it. If this technique was really so practical our guru's would definitely have used it, but since they were so expert, visionary and Krishna Conscious they were able to see the impracticality and ineffectiveness of this kind of teaching. Also talking about jokes and laughter, Krishna leela's are full of humorous instances. In front of these Transcendental leela's there's no way mundane jokes could stand any way. And even if someone thinks that their way of preaching people can bring others closer to Krishna without taking krishna's name than it might be taking people closer to something but not Krishna. Hare Krishna Prabhu Happy to see you see the difference in the preaching methods. I really liked your point in not finding fault in others. It shows that you are above standards. But I would like to differ from that opinion and want to see if we can reason that using a constructive discussion. 1. Opposing or finding fault in HG Gaur Gopal Das is not for personal reasons. One should learn to tolerate others mistake. So long as those mistakes affect us only. If it starts affecting others, one can through discussions make a stand and oppose the mistake. Which is what the prabhu in the video is doing. 2. Prabhupada never compromised his preaching for anybody. Instead of saying Om Ignoraya namaha .. he could quote Bg. 2.14 where it states "O son of Kuntī, the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, O scion of Bharata, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed." Krishna says tolerate. Gaur Gopal Prabhu says ignore. Please tell if its practical to ignore or tolerate when we the situation will not allow you to ignore. 3. As much as we want everyone to come to devotional service... it doesnt mean we need or can bring everyone. Quality is better than quantity. If a person came to Krishna consciousness via some person, he should continue to respect and be grateful to the devotee who brought him into the folds of Krishna, but that doesn't mean he continue to support the devotee if he commits a mistake. He can and must advise the devotee and move on if he doesnt change. 4. About earning money as a householder and using it for Krishna is not new. If Gaur Gopal Prabhus lectures match with the same, then very good. 5. To teach a dumb, one should not go down to the level of dumb. Rather one should bring him up to ones level. In my own limited experience I have noticed that being friendly and accepting will make you join many non-devotees. If you say, I will come to movie/bar with you 100s of times....please come to temple and eat only prashadam. Chant Hare Krishna.. Its not going to happen. And those who do come, will come anyways without having to bend overbackwards for them. You also risk yourself for those who wont come anyways. Hope you see that its not personal against any particular devotee.. as far as I have seen, prabhu hasnt spoken a word about Krishna in any youtube video. But I havent watched more than 5 or 6 here and there.. so i could be wrong.. Please point me to some videos where prabhu has spoken about Krishna and I am sincerely willing to review my stand after watching it. Hare Krishna

Iam a Doctor and I was introduced to ISKCON by HG Gaur Gopal Das back in 2007 during my academic days in Mumbai. HG Gaur Gopal Das is a Man with a Great personality. Even I had dispute with Gaur Gopal prabhu regarding the existence of krsna but he cleared my doubts and I became a devotee thereafter. His only purpose in life is to spread Krsna consciousness , may be his way is a lil bit different but I think people in this material world are so corrupt and under delusion that they have to be brought under ISKCON in the way they can understand better

Then why dress like a Haré Krishna devotee, he can wear something else. Why he is representing himself as a Sadhu but his intentions are pure to please the masses and make himself popular. This is not what a Sadhu is all about, Sadhu has sacrificed everything to spread Krishna consciousness. And if he is afraid of taking Krishna's name then he should leave Iskcon and become a normal guy wearing shirt and pant. Just like Sandeep Maheshwari. I would suggest you to watch Amogh Lila Prabhu's videos. He is a True Hare Krishna devotee.

The issue is you people think gaur gopal prabhu only does motivational speaking. Its only one aspect of his preaching activities. He regularly also gives pure krishna katha to suitable audience. Just because one aspect of his preaching work has become famous doesnt mean thats the only thing he is doing. Lastly gaur gopal prabhu atleast doesnt waste time in making videos criticising other devotees.

SP's preaching principle is "first care for soul by KC philosophy or sankirtan, and then take care of body and mind of those who are interested". People like GGP are having just the opposite principle. Pr, pls think about it. Is there even one instance where SP or any previous acarya did preaching like this, by compromising our divine philosophy. The answer is a plain "NEVER". You may remain emotionally attached to GGP and similar people, but the fact is that GGP and people like him actually have no love for the Lord Krishna. Any sincere devotee can never speak anything but the direct glorification of the Lord. Pls read SP's letter to Gurudas on May 13, 1972, here surely SP knows that Gurudas will distribute prasad, but still he calls it "food". Please read the letter. I have a lot more references and 100% clear-cut explanation about which preaching principles are absolutely right and which are absolutely wrong. Lord also created only two worlds MW and SW, nothing in middle. If one is not 100% devotee, no middle platform, for the Lord he is to be placed in the MW. My these words may be painful but I am a follower of a sadhu, so I cannot compromise on speaking truth. I am open to any of your questions and comments ([e-mail]).

If we reading Srila Prabhupada's books, letters, lectures, etc. we can realise Srila Prabhupada was always very much critical with the deviations. Example he said his own godbrothers all are 3. class Vaishnavas, because they not follow the order of the Guru Maharaja. So if you see some problem you can show there is a problem. @Pooja Agarwal If someone is bound to become devotee, he will. And if anything, GGD has only delayed their coming to Kṛṣṇa consciousness. They would have made faster progress without the confusing mundane talk. We cannot have 2 ways of preaching, Mataji. When you listen to the audio of Śrīla Prabhupāda, you'll never be able to make any difference which country or which kind of audience it is. He's speaking the same thing. That is how we should preach. Also, speaking is meditation. The speaker is forced to meditate on Kṛṣṇa when he speaks about Kṛṣṇa, but if he speaks something against the philosophy of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, his mind will be contaminated. Can you show one example in the history of our paramparā that this kind of thing was done? That some irrelevant rubbish nonsense is spoken to attract people? We will certainly attract but not the ones with quality. Lord Nityānanda also delivered atheists like Jagāi and Mādhāi. Lord Caitanya also spoke to Māyāvādīs, Muslims, Buddhists, atheists, common men, even animals. Straight philosophy or Kīrtana. That's it. No hodge podge. CC Ādi 12.8: At first all the followers of Advaita Ācārya shared a single opinion. But later they followed two different opinions, as ordained by providence. CC Ādi 12.9: Some of the disciples strictly accepted the orders of the ācārya, and others deviated, independently concocting their own opinions under the spell of daivī-māyā. CC Ādi 12.10: The order of the spiritual master is the active principle in spiritual life. Anyone who disobeys the order of the spiritual master immediately becomes useless. Read the purports also. Also the following excerpt from Caitanya-caritāmṛta Madhya-līlā 12.135 purport: "The word jīva-hiṁsā (envy of other living entities) actually means stopping the preaching of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Preaching work is described as paropakāra, welfare activity for others. Those who are ignorant of the benefits of devotional service must be educated by preaching. If one stops preaching and simply sits down in a solitary place, he is engaging in material activity. If one desires to make a compromise with the Māyāvādīs, he is also engaged in material activity. A devotee should never make compromises with nondevotees. By acting as a professional guru, mystic yogī or miracle man, one may cheat and bluff the general public and gain fame as a wonderful mystic, but all this is considered to be dust, straw and grains of sand within the heart."

With all the knowledge that I'm blessed to have by the mercy of Śrīla Prabhupāda and genuine Vaiṣṇavas, it is a sin to watch violence unfold right in front of my eyes. Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 10.44.10: "A wise person should not enter an assembly if he knows the participants there are committing acts of impropriety. And if, having entered such an assembly, he fails to speak the truth, speaks falsely or pleads ignorance, he will certainly incur sin." Śrīla Prabhupāda also highlighted all the rascals and actively called them rascals so we know. That is a great service to save people from being cheated. But it is not at all appreciated. But I don't care for the insults I'm going to receive for this. I will help people at all costs.

The life lesson is to be sincere all this temporary fame is not going to save people at the time of death the propensity of cheating and not obeying their own Guru is not going to give liberation to anyone let alone these people who have been covered by mahat-tattva and are no longer the servant of the servant. I agree Anish. Not everyone can be expected to understand Krishna in the first go. Each one of us is at a different level of consciousness. If being a devotee is making us judgemental about others, then we have clearly made no progress. Every Soul is at its own journey. And yes, there are other motivational speakers too. Those people who have inquisitiveness they come after seeing his videos and wanting for more. I am not advocating his style nor I am demeaning your references of Srila Prabhupada. Okay. So how do you address this? I have a friend who’s lost all hopes in life and wants to commit a suicide and he comes across Gaur Gopal Prabhu’s videos and inquires more and gets connected to somebody who can teach him more about path of pure devotional service. Gaur Gopal Prabhu is trying to bring people one step closer. There is increase in no of people who wants to know more. I work in a multination bank and my colleagues inquired about him and our now favourable to Krishna Consciousness. Also, Prabhuji donates most part of his donations towards his talks to ISKCON temples and projects. He is not using it for his name and fame. Neither he desires that. He is such an amazing person, whenever I pass by his room I find him singing Vaishnava Bhajana. I personally got benefitted because of his talks. Also in one of your comments you have mentioned about HH Radhanath Swami Maharaj speaking about conflict resolution between couples. Maharaj has spoken Gaur Lila, Krishna Lila has sung so many bhajans and has created beautiful Chawpatty congregation which has bore so many fruits. Srila Prabhupada advocated Vaishnava Relationships and has spoken so many times about devotee friendship. I need not prove what my Guru Maharaj’s life has always been about. Also we are part of Prabhupada’s family before posting anything could you please consult your Guru Maharaj or your authority and have talks within before this public blasphemy. Shouldn’t we resolve the conflicts before trying to pull each other down. Lastly, My Guru Maharaj and HG Gaur Gopal Prabhu have very high regards for Vaishnavas and they carry Prabhupada’s instructions in their heart. Please have a discussion internally and then post anything. You hardly know their contributions to the ISKCON fraternity as whole. Your ever aspiring servant.

I am with Iskcon for 10 yrs now. I had attended a few back to back BG sessions accidentally without knowing this place was Iskcon. One of them them was Gaur Gopal Prabhu's. He was not even popular then. But the impact of his class was great!! I enquired about the temple because of his speech and now I am here permanently!! I think this post should be removed as Gaur Gopal Prabhu is influencing so many people in the path of KC who otherwise would not have bothered to tread this path. Also he represents KC to the world...so if you are pulling him down publicly you are actually pulling out hundreds of people from Krishna Consciousness who are otherwise getting to know of the movement through him.

The way Gour Gopal Das communicates with his followers is what the new generation understands, and he is just explaining the message of Lord Krishna in his own way. Any kind word or a motivational speech is nothing but a gift of God. He shares his experiences, he shares stories.. The experiences which God gave him. People will try to blasphemy the lord's name, that shouldn't stop a preacher from using his name in his preachings. If I have a tilak on my forehead and orange robes and tulasimala, I represent a sampradaya if I choose to preach(or give talks). How is it justify able to say it's okay to preach about material life improvement when I represent a sampradaya in my attire which teaches vairagya. Trusting the holy name, and krishna himself should be the key.

Lord Krishna says I am God. And Srila Prabhupada said Krishna is God. Lord Krishna says surrender unto me. Srila Prabhupada said surrender unto Krishna. Where is the difference in the sayings? This is what this video is all about. Not to compromise in the teachings of Krishna for the pleasure of public. The GG Das talks can be motivating materially how it can guide the people in the right direction. The most important thing is he is representing Iskcon which was founded by Srila Prabhupada. You do not know how many people inquire about KC by coming to temple by hearing his lectures. There are many friends of mine who listen to his lectures and now they are chanting also and many are having favorable disposition towards the society. Tattvavit is from a rtvik temple which does not believe in the guru parampara... they deviated from the original ISKCON during the 1990s . Gaur Gopal Das accidentally became famous because of a short video of his joke which went viral in 2016. Because of that video Gaur Gopal became known to many. So most of his audience is someone who want spiritual wisdom in diluted way. But slowly many have progressed spiritually because of him. Many could cure their depression anxiety because of his talks.

If anyone wants to be free of depression, one must read Bhagavad-gītā. That is because people invite him to talk. and they only give him subject. It's not about being jealous - it's about going against set rules, if you are a monk of a certain sect, you should be promoting that sect and not talking about mundane things. There are saints out there who practice silence, because there is nothing better to talk about than God. If your scriptures and Guru are firmly telling you to not talk about anything other than God, then why do against them? Why does a monk need to stay in 5 star hotels and charge $40 per head for his talks? "oh but he donates it to the temple" - It doesn't matter - talking about anything other than Krishna in saffron robes is considered mundane and does not matter - there HAS to be much more faith in the Holy Name - if you are chanting with your heart the Lord will fulfill ANY desire as He is in your heart as Paramatma and knows exactly what you want.... Hare Krishna prabhu dandavat pranam, GaurGopal Prabhu is a great devotee of Lord Krishna, we personally know him since many years because of him we know Krishna and ISCKON. We had attended many yatras with him, he also preached at our hostel during our college life. Because of his talks many medical/engineering students had come to Krishna counscious movement. He has the ability to talk according to the audience, like he tells whatever the audience can digest. To attract the people to krishna, he had done so much. He is not only giving talks in Temple but also to different crowd, we have heard his shrimadbhagavatam classes , his prerana lectures, past times of Lord Krishna and other motivational talks also so according to the subject n crowd he gives talk, this you should have to understand. Simply by hearing one-two lectures , we can't judge anyone. I think u are also a great devotee so kindly remove whatever jealous feeling you are having against him and ask forgiveness from him. Coz this is very disturbing for those who knows him personally and due to your this video you are creating doubts in other devotees mind whoever just started practicing, so if by mistake because of your video if anyone left Krishna counscious movement then it will be a great loss for those people and you will get the reactions of mispreaching. So kindly rectify this misconception and upload a video after consulting with all your senior devotees and after knowing all facts n reality about H.G.GaurGopal Prabhu.Hari bol.

@ hare Krishna prabhu, you won't understand that only after coming to Krishna counsciousness , people will start to know about Krishna. He is preaching in such a way that at least people are coming to KC movement and enquiring about Lord Krishna and hare Krishna lifestyle. One should learn scriptures but only quoting and byhearting and not implementing in our lives, this is not recommended. We should become humble ,we shouldn't hanker for prestige , we should ignore others fault , always see positive things in others. He is showing all those qualities , he knows all scriptures and he's learned , he is humble, not criticizing anyone, helping people to change their lives so that at least they should become humans from animalistic lifestyle then they are ready to accept the pure knowledge which we expect. One should become happy that he is changing lives of many people so that they will come to a platform to know Krishna better rather than criticizing his efforts. People will not change if we force them to follow what is ideal, gradually they will accept. So instead of telling direct philosophy if we can relate to their lives then people will follow if they like the process. And people will follow by once qualities and example which we set. So we should try to become servant of servant , humble like blade of grass..You have posted this video on social media so ready to accept comments from all types of communities, if you want favourable comments then post on your personal circle, not social media. You were asking for shlokas n reference etc etc but let me tell you one thing, people will get attracted by our behavior our qualities and what example we are setting infront of them. @ you have shown Shrila Prabhupads teaching these are correct, we are following but you are trying to prove others wrong is not a correct way. People are following Krishna counsciousness movement by his preaching, and you are saying he should stop all rubbish etc, so indirectly you are not happy that people are getting Krishna counscious, that means our mission of spreading Krishna counsciousness should not grow, means people should not change, they should remain as they are and we happily follow for ourselves, this is selfish thinking.. @ No nonsense in my reply prabhu, Preaching Krishna Counsciousness is also a important activity Prabhu after becoming monk. He's preaching at least he's using his abilities to preach Krishna Counsciousness in a better way, he's not deviating people. Bhagavatgita,Bhagavatam and Chaitanya charitamrita are like UG,PG and Superspeciality..one should learn BG then Bhagavatam then Chaitanya charitamrita. You can't directly jump and bombard somebody with Chaitanya Charitamrita. However,Anyone can read any scriptures at any time but to understand it deeply one has to go step by step. And preaching is an art, one should appreciate and help in preaching mission. Some are scholars in scriptures like you , some are great preachers like GaurGopal Prabhu, everybody is different and accordingly every devotee helping in KC.. You can't tell everybody to do the same thing. You shouldn't use words like Rascal , pseudodevotee to a great devotee. Devotees with higher intelligence are there but they are focusing on Krishna and neglecting such videos which is full of hatred n making someone infamous but we are both wasting our times in proving who's better. Dandvat Prabhu, focus on Krishna will not get time to do such activities..
