How old is she when you started? Did she learn her sounds of the letters with cursive letters too?

This little girl was 4 1/2 years old when we shot the video. She had not learned any phonograms yet, but this was the start of that process. Her mom was using SWR and Cursive First together.

I'm confused, could you tell me why they should learn cursive and not manuscript?

Thanks. Read the info in those sites. I already ordered and received the SWR curriculum and was watching all the video clips I could find in you tube. I now ordered the cursive first. Homeschooling 7 kids at the moment with 1 in high school and 3 non school aged children.

I just purchased this curriculum but I didn't see a clock sheet like this. Did you make that or did it come with the curriculum?

Great question! The page you're seeing is included in the insert that comes with the Smart Pal Sleeves we have available on our web site. swrtraining.com/shop/penmanship/smart-pals/ However, there is a card in your phonogram cards that you can use for the same purpose; it's just a little smaller. Laminate the card and use a Vis-a-Vis marker to write directly it for instruction. Hope that helps!
