Teaching Rottweiler Dog to Swim in Our New Pool - San Juan Festival Philippines

Fun day jumping in the pool with the dogs Jake & Thor for the first time! Thor has almost no skills in swimming so we spent couple of hours practicing.

Can I just say that I really love how Sherlyn is as a pet mom. While everyone's attention was on Thor, she never forgets to acknowledge Jake's accomplishments. My furmom heart was happy every time I heard her say, "Good job, Thor!" ..and then she continues with ALSO JAKE! JAKE IS THE BEST! I used to be a furmom of 6 dogs and 2 cats, and I tried my very best everyone gets their fair share of our attention and recognition.

@@NomDe-ur7ct I wouldn't say that because we only see a few minutes of the life that they choose to show us. But yes, sometimes the puppies get most of the attention. Jake is older than Thor so he is more mellow and chill now. Thor is still a puppy and probably wants to play more.

So fun to watch the dogs swim. My old Portuguese water dog used to be the first one in the pool when we open it for the seaon. The water would be so cold, in the 60's Fahrenheit. Love the way Thor jumps in. Life is good!

Such a fun/cool day with the boys! Jake is an amazing swimmer. If I remember correctly, he learned to swim quite very young when you and Sherlyn were living in Valencia, Cebu. Thor suits his name, so big and strong, and he's quick to learn. I can only imagine when you teach your own children how to swim, must be wonderful/exciting to watch, so much laughter. Thank you for an enjoyable/fun video. The underwater footage at the end is as always amazing. One question though, that hammerhead shark, I thought it was a plastic toy, not real, was it, hehe? You should get Thor a Swimming Life Vest. They make for dogs. You just need to order the biggest size they make. It'll help him from sinking plus he's getting tired easily.
