Teaching Shiloh - Sensory Box

More sensory play with my 12 month old using things I already have around the house. I call it sensory box because I actually put her in a box. For this activity, I used different textured items and let her play with it and explore.

ribbon
felt sheet
aluminum foil
saran wrap
shiny gift wrap
sequenced fabric
plastic bag - tied in a knot
I introduced each item first and let her play with it. I described the item to her and let her feel it. After all the items have been introduced, I put it all in the box and let her explore. Shiloh's favorite was the aluminum foil and the sequenced fabric.
