Hi Steve. Thank you for the helpful video. I just bought the new 2022 highlander limited trim. When I use the gps, the highway exit and POI info keeps popping up and taking away the map real estate. Is there a way I can disable it ?

I have a 2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD pro. Bought it brand new a year ago and the radio stopped working. Nothing comes out of the speakers. You can see music is playing but no sound. It’s not the mute button, fuses are good, tried disconnecting the battery, holding the on/off button for 10 seconds and reset system. Do you have any videos on that?

Hi Steve. I have a 2020 Camry when I set the nav to point northwards it always reverts to sideways once the car is switched off on back on again. Is there a way to keep my settings? One other question . When updating the system do you have to do this with a phone close by or using a wifi signal or should it check and update over-the-air? I'm in UK. Thanks, Steve - very useful. I’m hoping you can help with this as I can’t find anything about it in the user manual or elsewhere online. I have a 2020 Corolla. I’m in Australia, so it’s RHD, but it looks identical to this one, apart from buttons being reversed. No matter what nav voice settings I change, the mute button appears activated at all times when in route guidance mode, even though voice commands seem to work OK. I was looking to use this as a quick way of silencing and reactivating voice commands when driving toggling the voice on and off. Any advice on this?

Steve, please ignore my question. I changed the theme from dark to light and could then see that the route guidance voice commands are, in fact, toggling on and off via the mute button. (I previously thought the diagonal slash through the symbol meant it was muted.) Thanks again for a very useful video.

Hello Steve - my Rav4 Hybrid 2019 does not give me the option to change Home screen layouts, meaning I am stuck with 3 little windows (2 little one on the left and 1 big one on the right), which I would not mind, but Navi is in the biggest by 'default' and I cannot switch it with any other info, it is just always there. Do you know what is happening? it is really annoying.

why does my 2017 toyota prius v Five navigation always looses signal from gps and cant ever really use the navigation because just using it one time on a decent size trip always screws it up and i have to re-calibrate it and that takes long so I never use it because that's annoying to do it every time each trip? really sucks cant ever use navigation.

You can use apple carplay but a change out of the radio is not possible. Rumor has it that scout will be changing to Waze soon
