BRILLIANT!!!!! I love that you have the dog do the weaves without the jump, then wrap it, then finally do the jump to weaves. so so smart.

Thank you so much for these videos. My young dog has been doing the channel method very well - I’ve gradually decreased the channel width over time. But she is struggling now I’ve placed the 6 poles in a straight line. She’s got a terrific drive forward but I don’t think she understands to weave. She’s often missing the 3rd pole onward. Your method makes so much sense. I’m going to try this with her. Thank you. (Watching from Scotland.) x

Yah I like this method mixed with other ones. I do the channels with my own dogs as well but really like how the 2-3-4 method teachings them to bend around the poles early on. Collect!

You are the very best video instructor I have found. I know there is only so much anyone can offer on a youtube video but you really outdo yourself . Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience with others. It's very appreciated.

I totally agree. Thank you for sharing. Your detail of instruction, explanations, and demonstration of all the steps is not only helpful, but inspirational. I really like knowing each is phase of training. I started my two dogs on your instructions at the same time. I love, love, love your training style and technique. Gratefully, Renee in Berkeley, Ca.

Thanks for this tutorial! Even if it's four years old it's still really helpful!😂 I'm going to start using this method tomorrow and I'm so excited 'cause I think this is going to help so much! :)

Thank you so much, I really love you're video's about the weaves. If a dog can do all this with 4 poles, how do you continu to build to 12? Do you ad 1 at a time, just like you go from 2 to 4, or 2 at a time? Thank you!

I go to four then six then twelve.

Where do you get your weave poles from?

Would you recommend the channel method or this, or a bit of both for the best outcome.

Chloe Pattie woh most of my dogs, I have just done this method BUT with my latest BC, I did a bit of both. And I have a video of it! Check it out in my page. It’s 14 days of weaves.

Do you have a way to connect your bases or do you have a base for three piles then a base for four and so on?

I just finished up Part 1 with Bess. Although she was a decent weaver, she found it difficult to collect and find the entrance when she was going fast. with Part 1 she is finding the entrance almost every time and when she doesn't, she always gets it the next time. I am fortunate that she is very toy motivated, so lack of a toy toss when she misses the entrance gets her thinking more on the next try. I have started Part 2 and it's going SO well. I am loving the steps which lay such a great foundation for her future weaving in competitions. She just turned 2 and I decided to really take my time with the weaving. By the time competitions start up again (post pandemic) we should be more than prepared to face any weave pole challenges. thank you for sharing your knowledge, and thank you Amanda Nelson for directing me to your KZbin video!
