This is the stage I'm at with my Thoroughbred. My question is, what if I don't have a round pen? Eventually I will try to develop one, but if I just don't have the means to work in one, can groundwork like this still be accomplished in a square/rectangle corral?

If you are still wondering about this, I’d go to your search bar here on KZbin and look up “when horses choose,” by a trainer, Mia Lykke Nielsen, she uses a square corral, or where ever she is really, she has a video with a really nervous show jumper so it definitely works on hot blooded horses too! I hope this helps😜
