I love what you mentioned about the back of your tung blocking the back of your throat; this is precisely how I do the technique. There have been many, many other youtube videos that show people how to hum and beatbox at the same time and it has seamed like most of them have failed to mention that part. I used to click my tung while humming at the same time when I was a kid. So when I tried to hum while beatboxing for the first time I didn't understand it at first. But then I was like "weight, let me try the thing with the tung blocking the back of the throat and maybe I can do it". It worked! Actually, I watched this video specifically to see if you'd mention the back of the throat thing. Glad you did! I've read comments from other videos where people said humming while beatboxing at the same time just seamed impossible... and I think the fact that the youtubers have failed to mention the back of the throat thing is precisely the reason why! All this to say, this was a great video and it's one of the most thorough tutorials I've seen on this topic... seriously. You really know what you're talking about. Also, your voice sounds rather pretty, regardless of weather you're singing or talking! :)

Hi Paige. Do you know the channel called Grand Beatbox Battle. There are lots of beatboxer and the Beatbox champion last year was Codfish. Codfish does vocal bass singing, vibration bass and throat bass. He also made a cover of boulevard of broken dreams. The champion of 2020 Grand Beatbox Battle is DLOW. DLOW does lots of things and the most thing he does is sub bass lip rolls and inward bass. The inward bass is the hardest sound to learn but you have to be careful because if you do it wrong you will choke to death.
