Because we are a licensed facility, we must follow specific guidelines. Since I have 2 year olds, I cannot have more than 10 children and there must be at least 2 teachers. I have a full class of 10 children (2 and young 3 year olds) with an assistant and a floater. The floater is with us during our hour-long centers time. She then moves to the other classrooms to help.

They were purchased at a thrift store by one of our preschool teachers’ mothers. They are starting to lose their facial features but still loved.

We had that velcro tree. Velcro tabs peeled off and fell all over the floor. I must say this looks wonderful but impractical for our kids. I could do some of it but not enough time for us to put it all away and clean up all the kids from painting.

Please, could you tell us how you explain the activities they are going to do during learning centers time? And how you teach them to transition between the centers? I am struggling in these points. I have 16 children in 2 -3 years class

Since my group is so young (most are 2), I don't explain. As soon as they arrive, they are free to explore whatever centers they like, for as long as they like. Often they will visit an area multiple times within the hour. For the 3 and 4 year olds (that I do not teach), they start their morning with a short meeting where they show what is happening in each center.
