Im puzzled by your contruction methods. Why do you use screws/ standoffs (im confused) to lock gears in place?

god ur passive intake how did u do that (i see a motor in the back and some gears, mm...) does it involve that or just a locking mechanism. or does the motor only releases the mechanism so the cubes can drop out. i know im asking a lot of questions but im hoping to do some similiar stuff would be great help if u could explain this mechanism

The passive intake is just using two pieces of metal and polycarb fitted to the ridges on the cubes. You can see a pretty clear picture of it at 0:24. The purpose of that motor is only for outtaking. It controls the 4-bar mechanism that extends the magazine outwards to be placed in the scoring zone or on top of a preexisting stack. That 4 bar is also mechanically connected to the two polycarb "doors" on the front of the magazine that open to allow the cubes to be released. Hope this helps! That passive intake, is it any different from the one on your bot earlier in the video? because I can see that the locking mechanism is a rectangular shaped rubber matting, which is different from the mechanism earlier in the video.
