Some Fusion tyres on the front would have gave it some more front end grip, you can always glue the sidewall down as well, somebody has done a 3d printed jig to help with this

I’ve had both LD3 def was better out of the box , build was better an easier to drive took a lot to dail in the b7

Cheers for going over what gearing you're using as well 👍 as I use the same motor esc combo but with a 24tooth pinion and it wasn't very fast so Ive soldered up my Zombie 17.5🤦😁. I'm goin to order some other size pinions and then go up a few more teeth before trying anything else cheers. P.s try using cactus yellows if you aren't already.👍👍

It’s a 2wd buggy, they will look similar. There are many geometry changes each company has that makes the cars handle a lot differently.

The only thing on this car that looks like a TLR is the wing mount, and that's it. Everything else is uniquely Team Associated.

That'll save you some money then(£150) lol, I'm thinking of the other way as I'm not using much blinky 🤣 only difference is I've got save nearly 4x of the just stock☹️👍👍

The biggest benefit of the pro is being able to adjust drive frequency. On carpet where things are more consistent, it probably isn't that big of a deal, and using the default 8k drive frequency of the JustStock is fine. But when you get into clay with changing grip levels, or certain layouts where you need a little more or less punch, without actually adjusting your throttle response or punch curve, you can soften the torque by running a 12k or 16k drive frequency. Or if the track has a lot of little booter/kicker jumps, or a whoops section that needs a little added pop, you can drop the motor to 4k drive frequency and get a lot of initial snap out of the throttle. None of the Non-Pro JustStock ESCs allow you to do this change. Nor do they work with things like the Bluetooth Module for on the fly tuning during a practice session. So, yes, you are "just running blinky", but there is a LOT more to the ESC tuning options than just the turbo and timing adjustments for Mod, that are all allowed under Blinky.

@@Fly2kill1 nope, the old one only had 10 parameters it could adjust, and none of those were drive frequency. The new one offers more settings, and wider setting parameters for throttle and brake curves, and support for the BT module, but no drive or brake frequency adjustments whatsoever.
