If a teacher starts discriminating a student(s) based on someone’s race then that teacher doesn’t have right to be a teacher. Shame on that teacher. There are so many different level of discrimination in India whether it’s caste, gender, wealth, rank, class and so many things but it’s getting better. I have travelled to India because it’s a such beautiful country but I was in constant fear because men doesn’t know how to respect women and they will stare at you even when I was fully clothed. Kind of creepy and uncomfortable especially in Delhi.

Yeah, delhi is cursed with some very serious disease which is staring at women, it is not an old disease it just came into existence after that salman khan movie tere naam. I pity on the people who stare. You know what, just stare back. Stop everything and look them in the eye. And maybe light a cigarette. Trust me they will either leave or will see their own sister or mother in your eyes.

Well I am from Assam, and I can vouch for the Assamese people that we don't face as much racism as people from other northeastern states, as people from Assam share much resemblance to the mainland people .

I must say my mind, people from all the north-east states are beautiful, talented, hardworking, classy and as a friend they are just always like a rock. People in India are stupid, stupid like some third world country. It is that o corona go mind set, illogical, amature, ignorant and arrogant on top of everything. People have degrees but no education. People have people to hang out with but no real friends, maybe that's why they envy the chilled out northeast guy in coloured hair. People have big music system but no music sense , maybe that is why they envy the chilled out northeast guy who plays they guitar almost like Santana. People in India have years in life, but no life in their years. Maybe that's why they envy the guy who came from a place which has beauty no less than any Switzerland. People from northeast are our brothers and sisters. They are indians as much as the president of india. Even if you don't know where exactly they are from, to respect and be humble is the best you can do. And don't call them outsiders, or foreigners. They have a mother too just like you. They have a home and family too just like you. Their god might be the same as your god. They have problems too just like you. Jai Hind.

I myself called Chinki or Sony ericsson couple of times to people from northeast. I'm apologizing all the community on this platform for my rude behaviour when I was in my teens. Northeasters still have to prove their nationality. that feeling itself is so annoying... And we call our self educated .... That's so Sad. .

Truth is rascism is everywhere. Bengalis are called Bongal in Assam. There are instances of bad behavious with Hindi speaking people. Marwaris are called Maru , madrasi to all South Indians, gujju....what is all this...truth is it exist everywhere. Same Indians Bengalis in Assam many a times are certified as Bangaldeshis without knowing his or her background or knowing history. It's just everywhere

No offense, but what mainland Indians face in Northeastern Parts of the country is not racism but rather prejudice. They don't have a threat to their life, livelihood or dignity, nobody questions their citizenship or patriotism. They are also not at the recieving end of violence in the abundance Northeasterns face.
