Wang Liqin is the vice president of the CTTA, and the president of Shanghai Table Tennis Association; he's present on the see-off ceremony, of course for the CNT, but I believe he would like to give FZD a special encouragement since FZD belongs to Team Shanghai. (CNT: ML/WCQ - Team Beijing, FZD - Team Shanghai, LJK - Team Hebei; SYS - Team Hebei, CM - Team Shandong, WMY - Team Heilongjiang, WYD - Team Liaoning).

@@inncogong9139 Thank you. This is great! Why Ma Long is a Beijing team member? I recall he is of the Dong Bei origin. Is he? Or is he now with Ba Yi? Or What? Liqing is a very important member of the Chinese table tennis establishment because he does a lot of thing behind the scenes. Liu Guoliang, Kong Linhui and Ma Lin are busy with competitions and trainings, it is Liqing who does a lot of political and administrative work behind the scenes as I hear. He is a really reliable force for Mr Cao, a God Father of the modern Chinese table tennis establishment. BTW, do you know what Wang Nan, multiple Olympic Champion, is doing now days? I thought she can be a really good trainer for girls because Wang Nan is an all around person rather than just playing machine like many other former top female players. What Wang Nan can bring to the table is that she can bring emotions and all-around approach to the sport, and make playing table tennis at the very top (Olympic and WC) is an enjoyable human experience rather than just winning games and get medals and disappear to do with all the miserable pressures!

@@bbatjargal1549 Yes, Ma Long's origin is Liaoning, actually WCQ's origin is also the Dong Bei area - Jilin, they both selected by Team Beijing and got their registrations transfered when they were very young(Ma Long, 13; WCQ 10). Ma Long has no relationship with Team Bayi, but FZD do; however, Team Bayi has been disbanded on Oct.21, 2020, in this case FZD chose to move to Team Shanghai.(BTW, FZD's origin is Guangdong). Regarding Wang Liqin, yes he really do a good job no matter being an athlete or an official...perhaps because TT is a kind of sport that muscle and tactics both very important...And Wang Nan, after her retirement, she chose to be an entrepreneur with her husband; she has a professional training center in Shandong which could support CNT's closed training session and she also has a TT club of professional TT trainning. Her daughter is also there(or maybe Wang Nan open this club is for her daughter), and I think Wang Nan spent a lot of time there to train her daughter(8 years old), sometime Wang's husband would post the trainning videos or livestream on Douyin(Tiktok), Coach Wang is very strict.
