The fact that Respawn decided to actually make some quality of life and major gameplay changes rather than just making a new character and calling it a day is actually pretty exciting, and gives me hope for the future. I think other games should follow suit, occasionally making seasonal updates that just add a bunch of great stuff rather than just adding a new another character they can sell.

I love that pathfinder still doesn't have real passive and it's the same thing but instead scanning beacons, now you have to look at care packages with the new skirmisher ability. But good thing that his ult range and speed of zipline is buffed

But I actually think that would make an even better skirmisher passive. Honestly, just give path an extra 5 or 10 melee damage and call it a day. I'd take that over his current passive.

They should allow you to build your own load out with a set amount of credits (sort of like arenas) but there’s a hard cap to the credits you have, so you can’t just buy two fully-upgraded weapons and go nuts

I think the only issue with that is that they would need to hard balance guns for TDM by price and not direct nerfs and buffs to the gun themselfs

A "Capture the flag" game mode would be fun to see. What attracted me to Apex Legends in the first place was the idea of working in teams and something objective-heavy as Control is fun to me because of that sense of teamwork. With that being said, I fully agree on ultimate charging faster per kill for TDM as something they could do, imagine popping off someone's head then ziplining away as Pathfinder, it just sounds fun and I like that.

I’m excited because not only did we add TDM - but they got rid of Arenas which shows me they’re willing to really double down on new ideas and scrap old ones. 16 seasons and my boy pathfinder still doesn't have a passive, alr i guess ill do it myself. Idea 1: Pathfinder can manually zoom in with his visor to see and aim further, Idea 2: Pathfinder is equipped with a anti scan unit in his machinery, it does not deflect scans but simply allows him not to be scanned, Idea 3: Pathfinder gains a speed and defense boost whilst on ziplines (works for natural and path made ziplines) Idea 4: Pathfinder can switch between normal (the vision you usually have) and thermal ( Like the thermal shotgun and sniper scopes no one uses

Maybe for a video you could check out Warframe, it has some similarities to Destiny 2 so I think you'll enjoy it as well. Warframe is a looter shooter rpg that is more ability centered that Destiny and much more PvE than PvP which you can only get a lobby for if you're a content creator but is pretty balanced if you get it going. Warframe has a bunch of movement making it as fast or even faster than Titanfall 2, even the slowest frames like Frost (Ice man) and Atlas (Rock punch guy) can go at over 60 kph/37 mph and the fastest over 3600 kph/2237 mph like Titania (Speed insect lady). Warframe has been around longer than Destiny 2 as it is currently closing in on their 10 year anniversary and some great updates this year that have been in the works for over 4 years. This game does require time investment and external help if you want to have fun, but the story is incredibly fun when you get to the "The second dream" quest and all after like "The sacrifice" and "The new war". No guarantee that you will like it but i suggest you at least take a look at it.

My favorite game mode of all time for a fps is squad death match and I know it would be way better in this game than tdm. If they just added squad death match on the regular sized maps, maybe shrink the map a bit, 60 players, 3 man squads, first squad to 30 kills wins. People would love that. Its basically playing battle royale mode but with unlimited respawning but with the benefit of a full sized map for a huge variety of different gameplay styles and adventure instead of the tiny maps for tdm

A juggernaut style game mode would be nice, if you don't know what I mean it's basically a game mode where one team is just one player (which I will be calling The Juggernaut) but they have a lot of HP, (and I mean a lot) and they can 1 hit kill anyone, and on the second team there's usually 12 or more people trying to take down the Juggernaut Maybe the Juggernaut can be the crab from storm point, or the big ball of suffering from the "apex dev reacts to our fan made legends" video

I'd really like to see a return of "marked for death" from Titanfall 2. Quick explanation on how that works: similarly to team death match, there are two teams of six. One player is randomly chosen to be 'marked for death' on each team.meaning that they are the target for the enemy team. First team to kill their mark wins the round. But to avoid turtling/camping, if the player who is marked gets 3 kills then his team automatically wins the round. The marked player is also given better loot than everyone else.

They should make it so you have an option to bleed out or wait half as long to get picked up by support characters. Finishing players would help a little with getting full shields in a more convenient way when possible. And I'd say make kills cost some points, not a lot, so you can get pre-made weapons inventory for free or just buy your own weapons and supplys similar to arenas for a hefty price. And buying your alt with the cool down time to buy another one very on the legends' actual cool down time, maybe even throw in the ultimate-excelerate pop-up in the care package from time to time.
