We upgraded the Team Energy C8ST truggy to 6S lipo with 150A ESC and a 2200KV brushless motor to see whats the outcome of the speed. Lets find out.

I have the C8st on 6s stock motor and gearing all i did was put the 150A esc and change the wheels to the sweep racing road crushers on it and it does 70 mph all day. This truggy is awesome!!!

if you are speed running take off the wing put on foam tires or slicks and lower it as much as you can. the buggy will have a higher top speed if set up with same gearing and wheels and electronics. as it will have less drag.

Needs thicker diff oils! At least 10/100/10..... that's stock Arrma setup. I run 60/200/30 for bashing. It'll greatly reduce front tires ballooning

I thought a 2200kv motor is a low speed type of motor? How were you able to get such a speed?

lower kv means less rpm per volt. most the time 2500kv and under is needed for 4s with something around 1500-2000kv for 6s. lower kv has more tq as well.
