Senpai Claus i know that korea is generally more concistent than the other region i mean they have three world titles ? i am actually very curious about that play in particular because most engages can be countered its just the level of coordianation needed is sometimes inhuman but "lucky" reaction can sometimes happen were every one reactively throughs out their combo at just the right time. tbo i'm probably a salty c9 fan who feels that c9 was the unlucky team to find out that syndra was a must pick or ban and that team fight engage was so increadible i'm baffled it didn't work.

Since they picked that team comp intentionally to counter c9 engage comp,plus their individual skills i think SKT almost have 80%-90% to consistently pull this play all game.

Well I honestly believe that all members of SKT know what they need to do and how to do it in any situation because of planning and counter play. So they already had a plan to stop C9 before the fight started.

I thought the initiation was not very well thought out. A simple timed AoE stun from Viktor could have easily shut down their engage since the ryze teleport is practically the same size as the port. Also, C9 definitely should have known not to engage where they are so clumped together because of the insane AoE combos that SKT had. I realize this is a late reply so sorry. But I wanted to know what your opinion was

i think the main reason this fight was so much better for Skt was due to the fact that both ryze and ezreal did 0 damage from realm warp to kennen dying. ezreal was out of range to hit anything since his only target (faker) died so fast. and ryze was CC changed perhaps unintentionally due to the zyra snare into lee kick making him also un able to push up and support in the fight

No thanks. It's called Worlds for a reason. The teamfight breakdown is for the best fights, and although TSM's fight against RNG is definitely worth breaking down, this is an extraordinary example of SKT's ability and should not go ignored. If you wanna only see fights where NA win, stick to repeats of NALCS.

SKT was smart with their ults and CC here, being able to time/position them properly and knowing what to hold back for any extended fighting later on. A little sad NA couldn't progress further, but good on SKT for the superb plays.

Fallen CH Faker was really fed at that time (6 or 7 kills with 1 death). Considering the fact that it was a 4v5 until duke comes I think its reasonable for them to engage. The reason why they lost is because faker had managed to unleash a full rotation of his spells before he got bursted down

It was a total bait from SKT. Their teamcomp was methodically hand picked for an antidive full disengage move. See how Jhin's trap was placed long ago in the wall to the right and Faker, Blank & Wolf hugged the right wall all the time. I'm still questioning Meteos' pick, i know they went for the Olaf for the early ganks, but he rarely ganks in the early stages; a higher cc champ with better engage might have ended in a better outcome. Also Sneaky is years behind on getting full potential on Ezreal. If Bang was playing that Ezreal, he would have poked the heck out of SKT team. C9 has been and still is my pick for NA teams, but their champion picks and calls make them look like a Solo queue team.

The way I see it, Impact could really improve his impact on this TF. Basically, he teleported to completely wrong position with the Ryze ult. He should have teleported more to the north, so that he spawns between Viktor and Jhin, not direclty on faker. This way: 1) He stays out of viktor w. 2) Viktor is cc-ed anyway by allistair 3) Viktor dies anyway before he goes out of cc due to kennen still dealing dmg with r and q and e. 4) Kennen also has time to use zhonya, thus zoning jhin away.

flank them with kennen and olaf in the front to kill viktor ASAP. the ryze ultimate initiation was the dumbest thing they could have done vs such an AOE CC from zyra and viktor, that SKT response was the same thing any player would have done, the ryze ultimate is super slow and you can just cc chain them to death, this play was actually unworthy of a teamfight breakdown.

***** the initiation with the ryze ultimate was the mistake, it could be used if SKT had not such cc as they had. just zyra was reason enough to avoid such an initiation and if viktor was also there is even worse, as you can see all you need to do is time your ults and cc when the rize ult brings in the players, it is quite simple and telegraphed. kennen was completely cc chained, they were lucky they killed viktor in fact.

Zyra E on Jensen and lee sin R on Impact and Jensen was the wowbo combo. Two ap dmg source from C9 stunned atm. SKT did it so well even faker die without doing so much, imo C9 could win this if Jensen ult on Bang position. C9 failed once on TSM vs C9 game4, forcusing on front line but leaving TSM ad behind... thats not working out again.
