Fun fact: The version in this video is the version that was released on october 10 2007. The beta version was released in september 2007, and it had 2 differences compared to the october 10 version: 1. Sniper would say medic’s voice lines when taunting with the sniper rifle or smg. He also didn’t have a taunt for the kukri yet 2. Just like the xbox 360 version, the main menu would have an animated background of the final control point on stage 3 of dustbowl before you connect to at least 1 server

Been playing since Beta & I'm gonna have to disagree, we have a million more maps, weapons, the backlog of custom content available to check out is insane as well as new community content being created all the time. If you ignore the bot issue which only affects Casual there's a lot more options, and things to do than there were in 2007. There are many many things I miss about release (no tacky hats or effects, developer updates, more close-knit communities) but I think it's slightly better now overall. I think 2009-2013 was the sweet spot though & the best period.

There are two different gaming subdivisions between TF2 in 2007 and as of this year now. • TF2 in 2007 is like playing in a Divine Providence without aimbots. Even Millennials play for the first experience on Steam except when Free-to-Play, Gen Alpha, Omegatronic aren't even yet born before them. • TF2 in 2024 is like playing in a Divine Comedy with aimbots. Even after the Gen Z started playing for their first experience on Steam that they commenced with Free-to-Play after 13 years ago before subscribing to Premium when Omegahexatronic bots are uncontrollably born for any reasons of raiding any public casual servers by promoting a link because they scam a lot without faith. (Sorry if I am not natively good at English because I'm originally from Italy)

Let me get this straight, this guy had the opportunity to get the orange box, which contained hl2 episode 2, and his background is art from hl2 episode 2, which meant he was a fan of the series, and the bundle contained hl2 episode 2, alongside tf2, AND a new game called portal (one of the greatest games of all time), but he chose to buy tf2 standalone, meaning not only will he have to miss out on hl2 episode 2, but in 5 years tf2 will free anyway, and he will be pretty upset when all he is given is a hat for $30, he should’ve waited for a sale.
