This was during the original build. When they started adding new weapons, a brand new team was basically working on the game, and besides; the Wrangler was intended as a long range sentry option. Nobody thought people would use the damn thing to jump as the Engineer back then.

Also, if you follow the binary that was in the video it lead to a video called mvm_invasion with a very alien styled version of the mvm music. So if this is true, this is just gonna be another MVM update

Did you know: In Left 4 Dead 2 the survivor Ellis has 5 lines referencing Team Fortress 2. The lines are as follows "What the hell is that? A bomb?" "Dude, this is JUST like Team Fortress 2!" "Push the cart!" "Gotta push the cart!" "I wished I had a Team Fortress 2 hat." Valve did something like this with Louis in the first game as well. Referencing both Counter Strike and Half Life. "Man, I feel just like Gordon Freeman!" That played when you picked up a Crowbar. "Oh, MAN! This is just like Counter-Strike!" This has a rare chance of playing when picking up a SMG.

Here's another fun fact you guys missed. The popular Counter-Strike map de_dust2 was practically a rip off of TF2 when it was in development. While Robin and his team were making TF2 for Quake 2 they released some screenshots of a desert looking map. The guy who was making the maps for Counter-Strike was a big fan of the original TF and he wanted to use the style of the TF maps in Counter-Strike. So he emulated the screenshots and made one of the most popular maps ever Dust 2. Straight off TF2 while it was in development.

Daemeon 93 keep in mind that you can only shoot up to eight sticky bombs at a time, and they take a while to fire, and you also have to maintain a safe distance before detonating them while still keeping your enemy in the trap and trust me a few of them in the same spot can do a lot of damage also without the sticky bomb launcher what would the demoman use? a beer bazooka? HA!
