Nagi in the first selection destroyed everyone, bro was the final boss, then after that he wasn't pulling those same moves consistently when he, isagi, barou, and chigiri were on the same team

There is some truth to that but remember by the second selection he started playing against people who are actually higher ranked than him so his out of the box moves would likely be less effective.

Even kuroko no basket had better talking while playing. While blue lock new season is just them being a power point animation. Even the house husband yakuza is better than them at this point. At the least the nagi episode isn't as worst as the original.
