😂😂😂Kavan Smith (Lee) got it right. He loved the bickering the friction between Nathan & Elizabeth. That Nathan puts Elizabeth in her place sometimes when she is wrong and Elizabeth isn't used to that. I love Nathan for the sweet gentle gestures he does for those he loves. We have seen that with Elizabeth, Allie and Jack Jr. Plus Nathan is a man's man. 💪 and protective especially of those he loves, but of course protective of the town as Constable of HV. Yes, Kayla Wallace (Fiona) was team Nathan 😂 We now know why. She liked Kevin McGarry. Kevin and Kayla ended up dating and now are married in real life. 💕 plus she saw the blended family with Allie and Jack Jr. I love that too. I'm definitely team Nathan! Nathan and Elizabeth are my favorite TV couple! ❤😊 I say that and I loved Daniel Lissing as Constable Jack Thorton, ❤ was 😥 when Jack passed, but I love Constable Nathan Grant more for Elizabeth now! 😊❤

Although I was VERY Team Jack, he is gone and she needs to move on. I am Team Lucas. First of all, he is NOT a Mountie. Elizabeth with Nathan seems like a Mountie Jack replacement. Lucas is something different. He brings her a piece of her family upbringing and sophistication. He is also educated and "traveled" as she is. I see more in common in Elizabeth and Lucas than with Nathan. The S7 finale didn't disturb me. She cares for them both and the thought of Nathan dead then seeing him alive, of course, would have driven her into his arms. Especially with him being a Mountie. It doesn't mean she cares more for him than Lucas. I am sorry that Lucas had to see it, though!

I can see that people are saying that she shouldn’t be with Nathan because of the risks and she could go through what she went through with Jack , but the thing about that is , life is a risk ! And Elizabeth understands that , nobody likes it but it’s life . + plus she could go through that with Lucas too , he takes risks himself .. look at Lee , he wasn’t a Mountie and he still ended up hurt and they were scared .. If you don’t take risk you are honestly not living ... Im Team Nathan since the first day he talked to her , I love the tension between them and I could really see them together happy with Ally & Jack ... they are both great parents and he could be something new even with all the risks .. ❤️

Reading some of the comments it's so funny some people say the chemistry is between Elizabeth and Lucas, none with Nathan, while many other comments agree with you. Just proves my point that chemistry can be different to each viewer and should had replaced Jack's character. Some people would had thought that no one could replace the actor while others would had thought they could replace the actor in order to keep the character Jack and to stay in line with the books. Oh, well, my opinion really doesn't count as I stopped watching the show when Jack died. Never any desire to watch again but I will check in at times when it comes up in my youtube feed just to see what's going on LOL

I do think if they hadn't strung us along for so many seasons with will they or won't they (J&E get together) then when they finally get together he goes missing many episodes comes back they get married, gone again, then boom dead, maybe I would had still wanted to watch but IMO they just treated the fans awful and after Jack died my desire to keep watching died, too. But for those that still enjoy it, that's great. I just decided to not let my emotions go through that again. Love Hallmark movies because if I don't like the ending I have only wasted a couple hours of my time, not 5 years LOL

Just Me I do get that. If the writers continue with this triangle with Nathan, Lucas, and Elizabeth, I will be disappointed and bored. Elizabeth is better than that! You don’t create a list to choose who you are going to love. If your feelings are confused then they are not there! So, we will see with season 8. I do have to say, I finished the end of season 5(could not watch the sadness) and season 5, 6, and 7 all at once during quarantine. I feel they need to get Elizabeth(quickly) back on the track she was on - love and family.

I think Elizabeth was made to be a wife of a Mountie because she gets the life and purpose. Her feelings for Nathan are very obvious in that he isn’t a pushover and keeps her guessing but Lucas is a pushover. He only started playing with the baby when he noticed that little jack responds to Nathan. She didn’t hesitate to run up and hug Nathan but Lucas got none of it. Lucas is reckless.

Team Nathan all the way. Nathan has almost the same personality as Jack. If you remember carefully at first Jack and Elizabeth were not each others biggest fans. They also did not have a lot in common on the surface but it was on the inside. Nathan and Elizabeth have great chemistry together. They really understand each other and they really really like each other. Lucas is more of a friend type rather than a boyfriend or husband type.

Well they came up with Elizabeth dating both guys and strug on TN & TL many years! Elizabeth gets engaged to Lucas and breaks up with him because he was a "safe relationship a safe love" to protect her heart. Elizabeth picked Lucas out of fear....Elizabeth rejected Nathan out of fear in S8....It was Nathan that is Elizabeth's 2nd great, true love as explained in S11. That wasn't fair for Elizabeth to do to Lucas (or Nathan in S8 w/those lies and Elizabeth denying her heart and love for Nathan hurting him)... Elizabeth was Not like the Elizabeth of the WCTH books in S8 with her mean, cruel words to Nathan or like the Elizabeth of the WCTH books in S8 & S9 w/being with Lucas because he was safe & the break up without much explanation at the train station S10!..... good thing it's fiction and no one really got hurt. 😂 Lucas also kept his mysterious past hidden S6-S10 and it was exposed by Jeanette in S11. 😂 Crazy twist and turns. I do like Nathan and Elizabeth as a couple though! I want a short count and then marriage for Nathan and Elizabeth! The writers took both TN and TL on an emotional roller coasters ride in S8-S10 😂 I do think they are finally moving on and Nathan and Elizabeth will be together in S12. Then also Lucas will.meet a new love interest in S12. The WCTH team really milked the love triangle though!!!!!

I’m with Miss Pascale, I wanted Lucas until I saw the dance scene in season 6. Lucas is my favorite character besides Lee, but I’m Team Nathan! Why? I feel like since he gave up his promotion for Elizabeth, if it comes down to it, I feel like he’ll give up his Mountie duties for her as well. If he loves her that much. And if that’s the only reason that she’s hesitant to move forward with him in their relationship. And they just go better together. Their chemistry is like no other! I will always love Jack Thornton more in this role. Though this season I have to say Lucas, my reason: -I think it will be hard for Elizabeth to be with a Mountie again. (because if he gets send away too) I think it will be a anxiety spot for her. -Lucas is mysterious and a little harsh, though he has a soft spot for Elizabeth. -The moment that those people wanted to kidnap Lucas and Elizabeth, Lucas said he’d give all his money if Elizabeth would be let free, ofcourse you would think this is a normal human reaction. (in a movie/serie mostly) But keep in mind that Lucas is a businessman and mostly there really anxious with there money. -Nathan is a little a shy guy, that’s cute but Elizabeth came out of a relation with a real man. (yall cant disagree with that) Lucas is much more certain. And as a single mother I think Elizabeth needs a real, certain man. (Even though she is a terrific mother on her own!)

Lucas & Elizabeth got oozing chemistry. I just hope they will end up together. I felt that Lucas is good not only to Elizabeth but to baby Jack as well. He treats her right. And by being patient, sincere & willingness to wait for her is a clear indication of his true intention towards her. And they both shared the same interests in life! They have this connection. It's definitely a big factor in a relationship. So, I will go for #TeamLucas! My apologies for team Nathan, but it felt like if it will be him & Elizabeth it's just like another Jack & Elizabeth story. Another cycle of story. Agreed! I mean nobody will ever replace Mountie Jack. But honestly, I know the original idea was about the story of Elizabeth and a Mountie but since that plan got derailed with because of Daniel leaving, they could really take it in any direction they wanted. And plus, I REALLY LIKE LUCAS 😍 I honestly believe he genuinely has feelings for her and would do anything to make her happy. And whenever he sees that he's upset her, he's so apologetic even when it benefits her.

I had the opportunity to watch the series with Jack and today I can only be for Lucas. This series has always been about people who find their way even if they seem cruel. Lucas perfectly represents this spirit. Also, I don't want her to constantly compare Nathan to Jack, it's unfair. This guy was almost a superman.

The only reason that Jack died is because Dan needed to move on. This could be the case for either characters. I think if people are team Lucas just because they don’t want Elizabeth to go through another heartbreak is not a valid reason. Just something for you to consider.

Team Lucas for sure! For those commenting on Lucas’ shady past and him getting her held at gunpoint, fail to see that Elizabeth’s character has always focused on giving people the benefit of the doubt. He explained what happened and has not had anything shady come up since. I am hopeful for a lot more character development with him in season 8 so people can be further convinced he’s a good guy. He consistently goes out of his way to make her life better and to bring joy to the town. I hope to see more altruism from him going forward. She brings that out of him and he is supportive of her passions. So I love that they bring out the best in each other. Nathan, on the other hand, is not respectful to Elizabeth.

REASONS WHY LUCAS IS GOOD 1. Lucas has really good puppy eyes. 2. Lucas is assertive/asked her out. 3. Lucas is romantic. 4. He is good-looking. 5. He is charming. 6. He helped publish her book. 7. Lucas supports the town financially. 8. He respects Elizabeth's opinion. 9. He is a good businessman. 10. He deals with confrontation with integrity. 11.
