Yeah Chris was kind of clingy... but even if Human Sonic Characters aren't that Popular, can you really blame Sega for wanting to try something different?

I enjoyed Heroes and while I was glad to see Tails freed from the confines of the mech (in SA2) it sucks he was never allowed to actually stretch his legs properly and run when you swapped to him, what with being lumbered with Sonic & Knuckles in a state of constant flight. Now I know flight was his type but did it have to to be all the time, as they had such a good thing with the SA1 moveset I don't understand why they dropped it. Granted with 06 he would get his feet back on the ground again finally but it was hardly anything to do backflips over as along with not having any of the moves from SA1, his running speed was nerfed into the ground. It was so bad that to get anywhere quickly flying was the only viable option and even Knuckles was (slightly) faster than him making it a case of one step forward, two steps back. Plus as well with 06 I think that was the last time Tails was a playable character in a mainline 3D Sonic game (outside the outsourced Boom), so something really needs to be done about that. Come on Sega, like SA1, let Tails run (and fly) wild and free! Because, as the old saying goes: let Tails run (and fly) wild and free.
