Just wanted to have at least one track related dialogue listed. "Move! The ultimate lifeform needs to pass." "A near miss is still a miss." Simple written line, but I like the attention to detail of a weapon near missing activating dialogue. "Not bad Blaze. . . but not great either." Burn. "Almost on top of you Rouge." Again, there's many lines like this in the game that it has to be intentional. "Rouge. Move. Now!" That aggression :O "Chao, what are you even doing in this race?" Ha. "Don't write checks you can't cash." Wth. . . and Vector's name wasn't mentioned, so now im curious for the full context. Can't explain why I wrote all these lines. They're listed for multiple reasons, but generally there are A LOT of lines I like that I didn't list.

I get it now. When Kirk talks fast, his Shadow voice goes a little off. I just heard the video of Shadow’s voice clips from Forces, he talks a lot more slowly, so it’s perfect. Also, there’s more tension put in his voice, hence it’s a race. In forces, it’s calm.

What I noticed that Kirk's Shadow sounds off during moments when he is doing something exiting, like taunting, being an ass, being cocky, enraged, or having fun. But the "right" way he sounds when he is serious and overall showing genuine emotions. Like there is a difference if he calls you useless in his Forces voice and the same thing in this type of voice (I'll call it Boom voice). In first case he doesn't see potential, "leave me alone,big disappointment", in second he is being an ass for the sake of being an ass, taunting you into improving, "git gud noob". I kinda learned to appreciate that side of Kirk's voice because you can notice a pattern and tell where Shadow is serious, and where Shadow is a D for the sake of being a D. Team Sonic racing is a tournament, so no need to be serious or constantly on edge. Like a giddy kid playing videogames calling people names and overall getting too into the game/competition(would explain he actions towards Rouge and Omega in racing game cartoon. That's not something serious and more of a leasure activity). At least that what I see when hear Kirk's impression.

Hmm. I love Shadow as a character, and he's my second favorite racer in Team Sonic Racing, but his voice is a bit underwhelming. I think that Kirk Thornton is a good Shadow VA; his performance in Sonic Forces was top notch. Here, Shadow sounds a bit too gravelly most of the time, as if he has a lozenge in his throat. This isn't enough to get me to hate Shadow the Hedgehog, though.
