I’m running a 1995 Lowe 1648 with 2004 30hp Johnson I run both the Mississippi River and Missouri River Duck hunting and South Dakota lake Frances Case for Walleye’s. Is it a perfect boat no as yes I have repainted and had it welded a couple times.

I’m surprised you didn’t have Polar craft on the list. I can only speak of their welded boats from 10-15 years ago. They were extremely well built. I’ve spent alot of time in both a 17’, and a 20’ Polar craft and they both performed extremely well. They’ve both held up to 10-15 years of very hard use extremely well also.

Gator trax will always be number 1 in my opinion too. If you do anymore tiny tins videos in the future should look into the pro drive outboards boats, gator tail outboards boats, prodigy boats and edge duck boats.

ive had aluma-junk,tracker grizzly,blazer,lowe...they all semmed about the same..good for cheap fishin..the best though was a 12ft seanymph with a 15hp johnson!it ripped!...oh and btw..that bobafet film bomb...legit!

I’ve had 2 war eagles. To me they are like a do everything boat. They are some of the toughest boats out there. I beat the hell outta mine huntin and fishin in timber, and it handles all the abuse. War eagle and Suzuki dt 25/30 has gotta be considered the “Arkansas special” it’s about the only thing you would see in the woods back in the day. I agree with your comments on the havoc. I would expect a better quality product in a jon boat that cost $13,000 for just a 1656 boat and trailer. And for that I’d swap your “3” and “4”. Might be alittle biased though. Lol

Would be interested in a Tin boat but can't get past the fact the are just to wibbly when I walk around in one. Need to be more stable. I can walk around in a 17.5 glass with no issues but a 17.5vtin I fel like I am about tobe thrown out.

I have an Alumacraft pro 185. Cracked hull in process of repair. Structural stress cracks. 10 years old. Failed last year and almost impossible to find quality aluminum welder to fix.

no SeaArk? interesting. i bow fish out of an 1872, and it’s a tough son of a b!tch. rocks, logs, trees, you name it. 4” jack plate with a 115 suzuki, and 15hp tohatsu kicker on a 4” atlas jack plate off the transom, no issues. great boat. tougher than any of the other ones i’ve ran.

I have 2017 1548 tracker grizzly sportsman with 25hp mercury. It was my first fishing boat now I just duck hunt with it. It's a tank. I've hit so many logs and trees at full throttle and ain't a scratch on it! It was actually not too bad of a fishing boat for what it was. The poor 2017 25hp mercury on it stays in the shop from smacking stumps and bent propshafts but the ol grizzly keeps going

Great video! I have run three aluminum boats before getting a BassCat this month. I started with a Smokercraft, then had a 14ft Lund with a 40hp on the back, and then had a 18ft SeaArk Outlaw 180 with a 115hp on the back. I think those Lunds are super solid boats that last a long time. I was impressed with it

So apparently you haven't checked out Alweld and the trolling motor issue. One of the most customizable jon boat around. Great construction and tough. They are everywhere around with tohatsu outboards and power poles. Havoc around here as well. Great video though

Need to put your peepers on those Timber Creek boats and Prodigy boats. Nothing to sleep on. After I had a custom boat built, I'm done with cookie cutter companies. Yes you spend more money but it's your boat built by their hands the way you want it from the start. I've had buyers remorse over the yrs until I had a boat built. Nothing but smiles per gallon now hoss.
