We are a small, 100% family owned and operated farm, located in Salem, CT. Here, you will find our diverse herd of dairy goats play, eat, sleep and cause mischief 24/7/365… You can even watch them give birth LIVE in the main barn aka Cassie’s Castle and watch the babies grow up! Watch the humans, Liz & Aaron, and their 4 children and many friends/visitors, stop in the barn to do chores, love all over the goats, feed treats and just hang out! Things get wacky around here so watch at your own risk and be ready to fall in love, cry & laugh right alongside the family.

New and old chickens need time to get used to each other. Separate areas so they can see each other for several weeks. If you have a drake, do not put the chicks with the ducks. A drake will try to breed a hen and end up killing them. Yes, I’ve had chickens for several years and that introducing new chickens can be a challenge, especially into a well established flock.

The baseball game was thoroughly entertaining. You may have 100 % humidity which is horrible but we have had 110 to 118 degrees for all of last week and will have it all of next week 😓

I have chickens, and when establishing the pecking order, larger chickens have been known to peck smaller, newcomers to death. Be aware that it happens. Keep a close eye on them. If they peck a spot till it bleeds, they WILL peck at the chicken till it dies. Its sad but chickens can be absolutely brutal.

Too many chickens in coop maybe? Would that cause the older ones to bully the younger ones? I would move them as the young ones will be stressed plus could the older ones seriously hurt them or worse?

Amazing game yayyyy🤪🥰leave the chickens with the chickens and they’ll figure it out even if they become featherless due to pecking of said chickens, mine finally stopped getting bullied and grew her feathers all back in🤷‍♀️🤭we have been lower 80s but 90 today then maybeeee 80 tomorrow and rain yayyyy🫶💜much love
