The Japanese team has a very interesting “style” of play that is at once very awkward looking but effective. Not sure that some of the pitchers motions would be legal in the States and I guess there are no base paths. The Japanese team is very disciplined and it’s obvious they have played together a lot. Kelly Maxwell pitched far too good of a game to have taken the loss.

The Japanese pulled it out. In softball, THEY are the 'feared ones' not the US. But to good athletes losing builds the 'fight' within. And that 'fight' will prove invaluable in the long run. Thanks, Matt. You're the best!

I'm not anyone to evaluate the home run Queen in D1 collegiate history but seems to me she's changing levels in her at bat, from south to north, stay in your legs Alo and you be crushing in no time!

Pregunta curiosa, a que velocidad lanzan las pitchers en el softbll?
@RapIsDeadly4 ай бұрын
The last two Japanese pitchers do that liftoff the mound so they can pitch 3-5 feet closer to the plate. This is starting to be a trend for baseball and softball.

Damn that many innings and U.S.A. couldn’t adjust at all literally all japans pitchers did was jam them

As the US pitcher continued to play alone until the second half, he became fatigued and allowed hits. Also, the fielder's shoulders were not warm enough and he made errors on the occasional batted ball. But American pitchers are good pitchers. There are no pitchers like this in Japan. That's why Japanese players were confused.

Japan’s base running is good

Too many hit batters for it to be accidental . Also if they're putting runners on base for you , Team USA has to bring them in .
@ryanwilliams5584 ай бұрын
If they had more Sooners on the roster they would bring them in more often. The only reason they put these players on the roster is for diversity I guess. Because you certainly can't justify them on talent over the Sooners that aren't on the roster.

@@ryanwilliams558yeah, because OU is the only team with talent…sure 💀
@ryanwilliams5584 ай бұрын
@@XBqseball so 2 outfielders from LSU are better than Jayda Coleman and Riley Boone. I don’t think so. Are you gonna argue Tiare Jennings isn’t the best SS? Stop me when I’m wrong because your comprehension is awful. I never said they were the only team with talent. You can’t read. I said the team is loaded with inferior talent. And those players are inferior to OU’s. No animosity about it. It’s just facts.
@XBqseball4 ай бұрын
@@ryanwilliams558 Perhaps you get off OU softball’s d1ck because there is plenty of talent elsewhere. There are MANY outfielders I would take over Boone. No, I don’t think Jennings is the best shortstop…she wasn’t even a shortstop a couple seasons ago. There are more players than just this past graduating class lmao. And with that, there is a lot of talent outside of OU softball. Never said that you SAID that there isn’t, but it’s certainly what it sounded like. Not to mention much more class outside of OU softball. Notice how none of the classless players are on these USA teams? I love it.

I'm sorry but the only reason these games are so close is due to the lack of Sooners on the roster. No Tiare Jennings, Jayda Coleman, Alyssa Brito, or Riley Boone. The team has inferior players on it for no reason.
