Hey, I made the quiz, thanks for taking part! Was worried it would be uneven but the score was exactly written close, and the laughing at the last manga question was a great moment! Sorry for the difficulty of some questions, I didn’t know the multiple choice was a choice you both had to agree on. Whoops, definitely woulda changed the GX. Also, really sorry about question 14. It was indeed my error. As for 15, I wrote you can show Small World as its more a comprehension question than a memory question, but it might have got missed. So, anyone mad in the comments, it was my bad, not theirs. Despite the frustrating errors right at the end, I hope you all enjoyed. Hope you find someone who can read Drummerila or go less obscure do a quiz. :P Glad you enjoyed regardless!

I do have to mention a small nitpick with the Reasoning question. Reasoning's effect states that you mill until you hit a monster that can be normal summoned/set. With the options and conditions listed, none of them could be legally special summoned. DMoC and Cardcar D would be the only monsters listed that can be normal summoned, but DMoC would be milled completely as it's the same level as the level declared for Reasoning, and Cardcar D can't be special summoned. Amaterasu and Rare Metal Dragon both cannot be normal summoned, so they'd be milled, and you'd continue to mill until you hit another target.

It seems the original printing of Reasoning from Pharonic Guardian (back when it was still a "magic" card as well) didn't say the monster had to be able to be normal summoned/set. It was errata'd to say that like Brain Control was later. Might've been a mistake on the quiz, but I just thought that was funny, if so.

The last question was great, if they both were a bit more hardcore they’d have been able to answer it xD

I made the mistake of using my classic printed copy from back in the day for rulings that's on my desk, it might be the really old one, I'll have to check when I get home if it's Pharonic or not, but it was in the first few years. Should've been more thorough with erratas on that one, my bad.

For anyone wondering why Alec thought Jerry Beans Man was a Duel Spirit is because in the game Yugioh GX Spirit Caller Jerry Beans Man is one of the obtainable Duel Spirits and is also a possible one to obtain on the Northern Part of the island as your first Duel Spirit

timegazer magician pendulum scale becomes 4 if there isn't a magician or odd-eyes pendulum monster in the other pendulum zone so the correct answer is you can only summon level 3 monsters

Rare Metal Dragon cannot be Normal Summoned, thus it cannot be Special Summoned by Reasoning. You need to excavate a monster that can be Normal Summoned/Set.

@@TeamAPS Since Level 8 was called DMOC will go to GY, Rare Metal Dragon and Amaterasu cannot be Normal Summoned and will thus be ignored. Cardcar D can at least be Normal Summoned but would ultimately also go to GY because it cannot be Special Summoned. Yes, every possible answer is wrong.

24:45 Well you probably already figured it out by now, but I'll try to put it in simple terms because Small World is a headache. lol You basically just can't have the next monster share more than two characteristics with the monster before it. In other words, Block Dragon only shares the same Attack stat and nothing else with Dark Magician, and the answer must only share one thing with Block Dragon; Dark Magician is out of the equation. Both Golems are out because both are Earth like Block Dragon but Gogogo is also Rock and Gear Golem is also level 8. That's two things so they're out. Scythe has literally nothing in common with Block Dragon - different type, attribute, level, and Attack/Defense - so it's not a valid target. Odd Eyes is the only one left by process of elimination but looking it over to make sure, it has only the same similarity that D.Magician had to B.Dragon - 2500 attack. Different type, attribute, level, and defense means it's correct. Source: My brain, as a person who built a Gren Maju deck with techs to keep Small World lines open. The card has too much potential as a "generic" searcher that I forced myself to learn it. lol

Hey APS I recently bought Duel Links Evolutions for my son and I and we go head to head all the time. he's more of a new comer but is really grasping it well. However watching build a deck is just hilarious, and nostalgic at the same time. hes picking cards like "Curtain of the Dark Ones" and "Armored Lizard" just because they look cool. I think it would be cool To have two new comer look at over 200-300 cards and just pick what they thinks looks cool and see who wins.

Welp the only one I missed was the Yugioh Manga R one, I even got question 14. With the last one it was simple: Block Dragon has the following stats - Earth, Level 8, 2500 Attack, 3000 Defense, Rock Type - AGG is a level 8 earth attribute so it can't be chosen - Gogogo Golem is a Earth Rock - Odd-eyes has 2500 attack but no other matching stats with block dragon - Artifact Scythe had no matching stats so was not valid.

Funny enough, I was doing perfect up until the Reasoning question. And the funny thing was I got it wrong because I got the effect backwards in my head somehow and thought the monster's level had to match. Though I will add that I couldn't remember the question about Trapper in Yugioh GX until the Multiple Choice options were put in front of me. And then I remembered good ol' Jerry. He captured the Beans Man and threatened him as bait to lure the biggest catch: Jesse's rare, one of a kind Crystal Beast spirits. I then did pretty well from there up until the Nibiru question, since that card happened way after I fell off of the game. xD I only got the Ghost Rare question correct on a 50/50 guess though, since I was pretty sure Clear Wing and Blue-Eyes Alternative got them at around that time. I then went on to miss the Pendulum question and Small World questions because I couldn't remember Drummerilla or Small World details. xD But I'd say an 11/15 isn't too bad at least~
